Hello everyone! I am jittering at my computer as I wait for the next 48 hours to pass...:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for a shop that has a good selection of Tinkerbell souvenirs? Or a nice snow globe selection? I will be looking for some gifts for my nieces, both of whom love Tink and collect snow globes. :goodvibes

I don't have a *good* answer to your question, but I have two ideas to go along with it. :)

Have you checked disneypins.com to see what Tink pins are available? There's one that's sort of cute that is being released on the 9th (don't know how long your trip is): http://eventservices.disney.go.com/pintrading/pin?id=32733

If you look at that site, though, be sure you make sure to find the DLR-released pins, so you don't get excited about ones only at WDW.

The other suggestion is disneyshopping.com. We budget ourselves with gift cards, and if we have anything leftover we tend to get extra souvenirs once home from that online store. Actually I've also gotten souvenirs ahead of time, if I find something on clearance, b/c of better prices. :)

There is a Tinkerbell Shop on the left as you go through the castle. Anything you can't find there can probably be found at World of Disney at DTD.

The Tinkerbell Shop is a great place to buy anything Tinkerbell, and along the tops of shelves in the stores they have different parts of Tinkerbell's home...I have a pic of her bedroom...
:tinker: :tink: :tinker:
I'll post it in a minute...

Here's the pic...

I love the Tinkerbell shop in the castle ~ thanks to this board we got to check it out last month ~ I didn't know it exsisted before then!

Just to clarify, you go into the castle to find the shop?

After you cross the bridge and go into the tunnel there are two shops on either side while you are still in the tunnel. The Tinkerbell shop on the left and the Crystal shop on the right. They are pretty easy to miss unless you are looking for them -- or are extremely focused on getting to Peter Pan first!!) ;) :rolleyes1

For snow globes I would suggest World of Disney or the shop near the animation building in DCA.

You actually go through the castle and the shop is just past the opposite side. There is no where to go INTO the castle in DL anymore. Just as DangerMouse said, the shops are really hard to miss though.

What is the Tinkerbelle store called? Is it just Tink stuff? What all is sold there?

just a quick heads up....you didn't say if you were flying or not but if you are, snow globes aren't allowed on planes either in checked or carry on luggage. they even have signs up about this on the shelves at DL where the snow globes are. sorry.

on the + side though, there's literally TONS of Tink stuff at DL. have fun shopping :goodvibes

We have been allowed to fly with snow globes, but they have to be checked. This was the case when we just returned from WDW in December, anyway. It was so nerve-wracking. It is exactly the kind of item I like to carry-on, so I can keep an eye on it!!! But, all six globes that we bought made it from MCO to PDX safely...Whew! :thumbsup2

When you get sit down dinner at Disneyland, you can get a souveneir sipper with a light up Tinkerbell. Super cool. We play with it at home all the time. About $5, pretty cheap for a souveneir. Nice to wear during parades etc.

I am missing something here. You have a sipper (a cup) with a light up Tinkerbell and you wear it at parades? I am guessing the light up Tinkerbell must somehow disconnect to wear, as I don't imagine people are wearing sipper cups or do they? I am confused! LOL! :rotfl:

Sorry that wasn't very clear :goodvibes . The Souveneir sipper has a Tinkerbell piece that clips on to a straw, but when you're done with your drink, you can take Tinkerbell off and clip it somewhere else. It has a little button that you can turn it on and off with and runs on a battery.

They have those both as Tink and Capt Hook. I've got one of each. So, they clip it to your straw that is in your drink. It says you have to get the Pirate Punch but I don't drink Light Raspberry Lemonade so I got mine with iced tea, I just asked the server for my drink in a regular cup so I didn't have to carry around a dirty cup all day. :) The light-ups are cute too, I have people who always stop me to ask about it.

I love the Tink shop, it's across the drawbridge as you are going into FL from the hub. It's about halfway thru but don't worry, if you go all the way thru and miss it you can use the FL entrance, just turn left as soon as you get across and it's right there on your left. :) I just bought the cutest things for myself and my kids, they both got a keychain, I got a keychain and a key clip for my purse (because I am always digging for them!) and the CUTEST tank top, I have seen it many times and finally got it this time!! YAY!! :)

At the Tinker Bell Shope, you can get Tinker Bell glowing pins that are battery-operated. They are cute.
