Best Place to buy APs

Could someone please tell me the easiest, cheapest and best place to buy AP's for our upcoming trip in about 2 weeks. Will be coming from IN. Need them to check in as we were lucky enough to get the discounts on our room.

Do you know the military rates for the adult and child's annual passes? The old rate was posted on Mousesavers but I can't seem to find it there anymore and I assume that the prices went up when all ticket prices went up recently. I can't find the annual pass rates on the SOG website either...

Worm, I thought that you could only buy AP's at the parks. I had thought about stopping at Ocala and buying them as we would be at the parks in a few hours and did not care about getting vouchers to make it easier. Am I correct in this thought? Would buy them on line but am scared that something might come up to deter our planned trip.

carolmn~ thank you for correcting me and for the link. i did not know that the ocala center sold AP's. i knew they had passes but i thought they were just park hoppers. learn something new everyday!!

Angela and Carole, thank you so very much for the help. Since our trip is somewhat up in the air I did not want to buy passes or vouchers until I knew for sure. If I make it to Ocala I am pretty sure that we will make it the rest of the way to WDW. LOL

We were at Disney in July and we purchased our activated passes at Downtown Disney, you can also get the Disney Club discount there, if you are a member. It's easier than driving to the park for a pass and you won't have to pay for parking at Downtown Disney. We were asked to see the passes at check in at AKL, I know some people have said that they were never asked, but it would be inconvenient if they did ask and you didn't have them. By the way you only need 1 pass in the name of the room reg. to get the AP discount, I don't know if this matters much to you. I just thought that if you were going to be there for 7 days or less, you could buy park-hoppers for the others in your party. If you decide to do that, order the hoppers in advance and they are at the old ticket price, you pay the new price at the parks. Sorry this was sooo long, hope it helps.

Ever since our free work Disney Club days we are out of luck there as far as discounts.

Gotta have AP's for everyone cause we will be there at least 12 days this trip and as many or more next year.

Have decided to stop at Ocala since we stop there anyway. Am hoping a miracle will occur and they will come out with some kind of discount before we leave (about 10 days). LOL

Lots of great information in your post. I am sure it will help steer someone toward a better and wiser decision.

There are no other discounts on AP's for non-Florida residents besides the DC one.

Does anyone know if the SOG discount is better than or similar to the Disney Club discount?

We will be elligible for both discounts on our upcoming December trip - but, have never gotten SOG discounts before. Not sure what the current discount is on AP's. Thanks!
