We've planned to spend one day in Universal during this years fall trip, but want to try to see a little from both parks....sort of a warm up for a bigger visit next year. Any suggestions on where I can get the best price for tickets?

The $74.00 ticket price is about as good as you can get by ordering online. The gate price is $79.95 for the adult ticket.

If you have AAA, they have a great rate on their website. I got my 1 day 2 park tickets for $59.95.

My AAA said they were $73. I did some fun googling and came up with a fan club rate through ticketmaster. I'm not a member of the fan club, but that didn't seem to matter. I just did this the other day, I haven't gotten the tickets yet. They were $66.00.

You HAD to know someone would say:

why not spend a couple extra bucks and buy the 7 day ticket for $86? Not that much more for 7 days instead of just cramming everything into 1 day!

That's great, but I'm only going for one day. I used to get two-park, two-day passes when they didn't expire. That doesn't happen anymore so I'm just buying the one day. Why should I spend more money when I'm not going to go for more than one day.
