Best place to book Bonnet Creek

There is also a Bonnet Creek Facebook site that has postings of availability from multiple sources. I just booked with
Rentatwyndham.com in a 3 bedroom during peak season for $200/night in early August. Yvette Ellis was the owner and very helpful. Hope you can find the deal you want.

As posted on the earlier post, the Wyndham cancel rebook loophole is going away this month.

Any bookings after June, the VIP members cannot cancel and rebook.

Prices of Wyndham Bonnet Creek have been going up. There may be some "cheap" Wyndham Bonnet Creek rentals out there and these may be RCI Exchanges (which are not allowed to be rented out).

If you are thinking of Wyndham Bonnet Creek, take a look at the points chart. You can google it and look on google images and it shows up. Using $7/1,000 is reasonable.

There will still be deals to be had at any Wyndham resort. For the best deals, you will have to be open. VS currently has a 4BR Pres next month for something like $3,000 on eBay. They are not going to get anywhere near that. The price will go down over the next 2-3 weeks. When they can't get the price they are asking, one of the megarenters will book it for 212,000 points and rent it for about $1400. These big companies that manage points for owners will book and cancel at the 15-day mark when they don't get their premium prices.

Yes, the book/rebook loophole is expected to close. However, the big renters will find the next loophole once it is launched.

If you are thinking about buying into a Disney DVC or want to stay on property, check out David's DVC rentals, which is frequently used by a lot of people on this board, and they have a stellar reputation. I would stay a couple of times at different resorts to get the feel of which might be the best fit for your family. Plus if you ever want to add a dinning plan it will be available for you to do so, also park transportation is nice. I think you can book ME to and from the airport if needed.

I will say bonnet creek is very nice, but a different feeling than staying at a Disney on property.

I was just logging in to ask exactly these questions, as we are thinking WBC would be a great fit for our family of five in December. Thank you, everyone, for all the good information!

We are looking for november and I found someone on vrbo thats about $100 cheaper than anyone else on there but you have to book through their site and dont get the cancellation policy. There is also no reviews for them either which has me leary of using them. 3BR for $1299

It all depends on when you are going in Nov. You need to find an owner to work with. I see a 2BR for $699 for a week already.

VS quoted me $93 for early Oct for a 1BR unit. Everything I see on TUG is at least $100. Am I missing something or is VS a really good deal?

Huge discounts don't come out until the 60-day mark where PlatVIP can book for 50% points + free upgrade. Most likely, that is high season. A 1BR is 126,000 points. That comes to $5.15/1,000 points. At the 60-day mark, depending on availability, the PlatVIP owner can book a 2BR Dlx for 63,000 points (50% of 1BR + free upgrade). At the /pt price, the room might
be had for $325.

Do sellers on TUG typically sell at posted rate or are they negotiable?
Lots to learn with renting timeshares!

They can sell in two places there: Last Minute Rentals and Marketplace. Last Minute Rentals have to be $100 or less per night and start of stay has to be within 45 days. Marketplace can charge what they want. You are free to contact and see if they will negotiate. With the book/rebook closed down, a lot of the best prices won't be seen until 60-day out.
