DH and I will be staying at the DoubleTree Hotel and would like to go out for dessert later in the evening to celebrate our anniversary. We'll be there on a youth trip with about 70 teens, so we can only slip away for a little while after supper. We won't have a car. The club scene doesn't interest us, but we don't need anything too fancy, either. A place with something chocolate would suit me just fine. ;) Any suggestions?

Hi Pastamore at Citywalk has really nice desert treats

Wow! The Dessert Lady menu looks incredible! Right up my alley. :thumbsup2 Plus, it just dawned on me  that we will have 3 rental vans on our anniversary, because we're shuttling the 70 teens back and forth for a grocery stop on that same day. Since we won't have to return the vans until the following morning, we'll have transportation for our dessert date. Dessert Lady, here I come! :woohoo:

highlander447, how is the other food at Pastamore? Have you had dinner or lunch there before? We're trying to gather restaurant ideas for our group, near Double Tree hotel, that aren't part of the club scene and aren't too pricey.

Wow, the menu looks great. I'd never even heard of Dessert Lady until now, thanks for sharing.

It in the shopping center on the left side of the road by Chick-fillet. Go down Kirkman take a left on Conroy and then take your first left at the light on Conroy which goes into the shopping center.

I would also like to thank Kelly Monaghan for introducing me to the dessert lady.

They look sooooo good! That is definitely on our places to visit list!

Hi Pastamore is very good food wise, we have had slices of pizza, sandwiches milkshakes etc all for lunch, at dinner never had a bad meal from pasta to steak, also I've always thought the prices where pretty reasonable as well, and the sangria is pretty good as well

phamton, thanks for the directions. That saves me a visit to Mapquest. ;) Is Dessert Lady near the intersection where Publix is?

highlander447, I'll have to check out Pastamore when we're at CityWalk. (If I order light, maybe I'll have room for dessert, too. :thumbsup2 )

It's the exact same intersection. There are two shopping centers at that intersection. Once you turn left at Conroy, Publix is in the shopping center on your right but The Dessert Lady shopping center is on your left. Once you turn left into the shopping center, go past Chick Fil-A and you will see it on the far end of that shopping center.
