Best Place in AK to eat

Hey guys,
We are going to spend and entire day in AK and we are on the DP. Was wondering where to eat? Tusker HOuse? Pizzafari? Flame Tree BBQ? All help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

The counter service at the AK is the best of all the parks, IMHO - in fact, I think that the 3 you mentioned there (Pizzafari, Tucker House, and Flame Tree) are lightyears better than the only full service restaurant at AK (Rainforest Cafe).

Tucker House is fantastic and has vegetables (a rarity in Disney counter service), Flame Tree has good barbecue apparently (I'm a vegetarian so I wouldn't know), and Pizzafari is good but not really special or anything.

Basically I vote for Tucker House. Dont waste your money and time at the Rainforest Cafe. If you must, do the one at DTD - it's less crowded.

Flame Tree BBQ is the BEST!!! My DF and I make it a point to stop there and eat

We have tried all three and thought they were all very good. If I had to choose one it would be Flame Tree -- the food was yummy and the seating area is really nice.

Do the counter service places like Tusker and Pizzafari have inside seating and A/C?

I believe those three do. Not 100% sure - I know Tusker House does, I'm pretty sure about flame tree, and I think Pizzafari does as well.

another vote for flame tree. it is the one of the three that has an outdoors seating area only. when it's hot, I'll get flame tree and my family gets something from pizzafari. I carry my plate over and join them.

I think Tusker House has the best counter service food in all of WDW. Where else can you get a Salmon dish for under $10??...that's good??? Some of the WDW restaurants that charge twice as much aren't as good! Plus the chicken is good as well.

We've tried both Tusker House and Flame Tree and we all vote for FLAME TREE!!!!!

Flame Tree MMMMM. Love those ribs. Love that chicken.

The seating was kind of nice. It rained on our AK day and the covered area was really good.

Thanks so much for the great advice. We are spending all day so maybe we'll try a couple of them. Does anyplace sell breafast besides the Donalds Breakfastours?

I always go to Pizzafari for this: Hot Italian Style Sandwich with Chips - Turkey, ham, Swiss and Provolone Cheese topped with Caesar salad and pesto marinated tomatoes - $6.79
