Best place for US/IOA tickets right now?

Calling doesn't work because they aren't actually tickets but a gift card in amongst hundreds. Many people called their Krogers and were told they had none when they actually did. You need to go and physically check yourself, unfortunately.

Are they in the checkout lines? And Customer Service desk? I am unfamiliar with Kroger stores. It is a pretty fat drive for me but I guess that would give me something to do prior to kickoff tomorrow.:cheer2:

Sounds good. I think I am going to try to hit the Evanston and maybe Elk Grove stores tomorrow. Depends how spunky I'm feelin'. I am not particularly optimistic though. How much market could there be for these tiks in a grocery store this far north?

I hear ya ! I live on the south side and have been checking different stores every time i'm out, i've only seen universal gift cards so far

:sad2: Have tried 4 Krogers in the area I live with no luck. Hope others are having some luck finding these!

Food 4 Less stores
Chicago - no
Melrose Park - no
Evanston - no
Didn't make it to Elk Grove but I'm sure it would be a waste of time. Oh well, my fingers are crossed for AAA tomorrow.

Ok Im highjacking this question with one of my own. I have bought 6 of the krogers 7 day 2park tickets and when i paid i wasnt charged tax. is that a norm? I live in Tennessee. Do you think that i will have to pay tax when i use them in March?

Ok so I'm not the only one. I noticed the UPC code had a black marker run through it when I got them home.

Thanks to both of you! I'm outside of Nashville, I'm going to check the local Krogers by me. It's definitely worth a shot compared to what the prices are now!

Did you have any luck? I just came from our Alcoa TN Kroger & I swear I believe we're hoarding them at this location. I think they even re-stocked them since I was last there, as BOTH sides had like 20+ cards left!

I wonder if ALL Kroger's have them? It seems like they would, since they are a chain, so maybe it's just a matter of finding one that has them. I'd also think that whoever "stocks" these kiosks would do it in more than just one chain, but apparently that's not how it works.

Weird. I just looked at mine & didn't notice any marker on it; what does it mean?

That sounds like the Kroger near me, hoping to get more today.

The Kroger that is 8 min from my house does not have them & I shop there all the time. However the Kroger 25 mins away from me last had them.

Not sure, unless they were to be directly scanned by the plastic card itself & not the paper holder would be the reason they would block it out.

I'm on a mission today; going to search out 10 more cards at 2 different Kroger stores! I live for this kinda stuff, wish me luck!!!! :thumbsup2

I got your PM. Unfortunately I can't PM you back for now but I did send you some kind of a guest message. I don't even know where you would look for that.

No, no luck. Have been to six stores around Nashville, looked in at all the kiosks, looked in each check out line (with some interesting looks from people for doing that), and checked at each service counter. Starting to think my only hope is to drive 3 hours to east TN to get these, which I really don't want to have to do :sad1:

It doesn't sound like the Kroger passes are any good anymore, so you guys better not drive out of your way only to get there and find out they can't be activated.

I was wondering this too & was surprised they weren't taxed. I figured I'd get taxed when I used them, so FL would get the money...:confused3 Either way, it was still a good deal!

I'm in Maryville (south of Knoxville) and we still have some left. I just came from the Alcoa TN Kroger and they still have them too. There was only ONE left on one side of the kiosk, but when I looked on the other side there were a bunch left...20+.

Just wanted to let you know i called the Kroger Gift Card center and just for my peace of mind to confirm that my tickets were activated( which all 6 tickets were) and i asked about the no tax on my cards and they said not to worry about it if tax was going to be charged it would have been charged at time of purchase. :cool1::thumbsup2

I just picked up my 7 day tickets from AAA today. Each one was $105. I think thats a pretty good deal.

Sounds just like the deal I got. 7-day, for both parks - right?
I bought them on-line thru AAA - when I went on-line the other day they were gone. Glad you found some.

I called my Chicago area AAA on Monday and they quoted me 2day/1pk $117 or 3day/2park $149 so yes, your deal is awesome. Jump on it with both feet:yay:.
