Let's hear it. What is your opinion on the best restaurant for seafood in Disney?

Thanks in advance!

I'm from New Orleans and I've been disappointed with everything I've tried, to the point where I gave up and stopped eating seafood at Disney.

The exception is the sushi at California Grill. That's amazing.

I have heard good things from the Dis' restaurant reviewer on their podcasts, Kevin, about the seafood at Narcoosee's. I'm willing to give it a try.

I've also got Flying Fish on my radar to try.

Maybe in a couple of years... it's hard to get hubby out to eat sitdown anywhere but a steakhouse, so I've been waiting until I'm there with other friends or family to go.

Cape May Seafood Buffet over in the Epcot resorts area is fantastic. We live on the east coast of Florida & can get fresh seafood, & my husband absolutely loved it when we were there in September for our Anniversary. I even managed to pig out on the boiled shrimp (which I never do) as it was done just right.

I am not a huge seafood eater but the fish and chips in England was out of this world. Very light and flaky, not greasy at all...had a nice crunch to the batter.

the striped sea bass i had at Citricos last month was the best fish i have ever had in my life (and i almost always order fish at restaurants)..

it was outstanding...in fact, outstanding doesn't come close to what it was....

I've had the halibut at both JIKO and Narcoosies. Narcoosies was ok, but the halibut at JIKO was the best I've ever eaten.

Victoria and Albert's does a great job, obviously. Flying Fish also does a phenomenal job with sea food.

We had great meals at the Flying Fish last week. I had the Chef's specialty, "Potato-wrapped Red Snapper," and my wife had the day's special, "Opa." The seafood was extremely fresh and the service was excellent. The Flying Fish is high on our return list.

Narcoossee's! We especially enjoy the whole maine lobster, it is delicious!

The Coral Reef fish and grits was awesome!!! I didn't care for the fish and chips at Epcot. I love shrimp so I look for shrimp on every menu. Also, at DTD, Cap'n Jack's is great!!!

My recommendation would be Flying Fish or Narcoossee's. We have had excellent seafood at both restaurants.

I enjoyed the food at the Flying Fish. The snapper was excellent, and the calimari appetizer was perfectly done. My girlfriend also raved about her scallops.
Cape May.... not impressed. One pot of mussels was pretty good, the next was rubbery and unappetizing. My girlfriend didn't like the chowder or the clams, either. We ate there on our first night because of convenience, but in the future we'll risk the logistics and eat somewhere else.
California Grill sushi was fantastic. I'm a sushi snob from New York City and though I'd still take my places in the city, it was a LOT closer than I anticipated.
I enjoyed the salmon at Le Cellier, but it wasn't out of this world.
My girlfriend liked her Tuna at Kona, I thought it was okay, but I've made better.

How about the Twin Lobster Tails at Capt Jack's and the Lemon sole at Raglan Road I want to try them and was wondering if anyone else had???

I would have to say that my all time favorite seafood resturaunt in Disney was Coral Reef. (That's really the only place I have been to for seafood lol)

My son and I ate at Fulton's several years ago when it was on the DDP and had an absolutely awesome meal...he still talks fondly about the "special" salmon he had there as well as the calamari. Of course, being on the dining plan helped allow some freedom cost-wise when it came to ordering!!

We're also HUGE fans of the fish-and-chips in England!

Fulton's is one of our absolute favorites. The king crab claws are the best! I've even taken co-workers and clients there when attending conventions or conferences. They still bring up the incredible crab claws. It's not cheap though, last I recall it was around $45 for the entree.

It sounds like a case of you get what you pay for!

Any of the restaurants that charge upwards of $20 for an entree, you are fairly sure of getting good seafood.

I wonder if there are any standout exceptions to that rule? Buffets don't count, I'm talking about places that charge over $20 for just the entree.
