Hello! Have any of you eaten here before? Could you let me know how it was? Thanks!

LOCATION, LOCAITON. LOCAITON =10 The food and service (not a true Dinsney restaurant) 5.5. I like the ESPN club much. The beer is overpriced and the food seleciton is burgerbarn quality.

less than mediocre, eat at ESPN instead. Even Yacht Club Galley is better.

Thank you for the input.I am stressing out so much just to find a decent restaurant for my rehearsal dinner/welcome party for our wedding next year. We are getting married at the boardwalk so I just thought since we were right there for the rehearsal that we could choose one the restaurants on the boardwalk.

If you all have any suggestions please share. Thank you!

We ate there last trip. It's just like a typical bar and grill...not great, not awful. I definitely wouldn't recommend it for a rehearsal dinner.

I think Ohana's would be great for a rehearsal dinner! It's fun and you could all catch the MK fireworks after.

IF they do things like rehersal dinners, Flying Fish is the best Boardwalk place.
BRG is mostly a beer and burger spot.

I agree, Flying Fish would be fantastic for a rehearsal dinner. I would not choose Big River or ESPN for one.

Spoodles might be another option - it's a loud family friendly restaurant so if you don't want a quiet intimate meal, it'd offer a fun environment with really good food on the boardwalk.

Take a look at Yachtsman Steakhouse as well. Pricier but great atmosphere.

Thank you everybody so much. You all have helped me out a lot. Thank you!

I would suggest trying something totally different either an EPCOT restaurant for a private party or Boma at the AKL. Most of your guests probably never visited there and the AKL is stunning and a very unique venue. After dinner guests can animal watch with native animal guides or listen to African fairy tales at the fire pit. I would call the Group dining folks they would probably have great suggestions. They may also be able to give suggestions with transportation if you choose somewhere like AKL. Let us know what you decide. Have fun!!

I'm sure you probably know this already but there is a wedding BB here on the Dis they may be able to help.

1) Flying Fish is a good choice.
2) But, beware, that it is the most expensive per-person restaurant at WDW.

3) As far a rehearsal dinners, what are you looking for
. . . causal and laid-back (nice for groomsmen)?
. . . casual and hip (nice for bridesmaids)?
. . . formal (good for bride's parents)?
. . . semi-formal (good for groom's parents)?
. . . haute cuisine (impress the new relatives)?
. . . family fare (make the other guests welcome)?
. . . ultra-expensive (daddy pays)?
. . . medium priced (you pay)?
. . . on the skinny side of the wallet (new husband pays)?
4) Pick one, and I am sure we can help
