Best Place for MK fireworks?

Where is the best place OUTSIDE the MK to view the fireworks? Somewhere at the Grand Floridian or the Poly?

(Not sure if this question is best here or on the resorts forum)

I'm hoping to see them from here and have a great meal also.

FYI-You can only view them from here if you have a reservation. I had heard that previously, people could go up to the observation deck at the restaurant via the lounge and watch the fireworks but they do not allow that anymore.

I you want to hear the soundtrack, I think your choices are limited.

I've read that the Poly does have some pool-side speakers, but you'll need to find a spot very close to one to make it worthwhile.

We watched them from the beach at Fort Wilderness. There weren't any speakers there but the show was great anyway.

We watched them last year from the outlook off the beach at the Poly. It was so beautiful & we could hear the music enough to know where it was. I wish that we had taken a personal CD player with us since we did buy the CD that trip.

There's a patio on the 4th floor of the CR - the door to get to it is on the left, just past the shops. They do pipe in the soundtrack from Wishes and you can see the show, but from an angle. We enjoyed watching from there last summer and also enjoyed watching the packed monorails pass through the resort with people on their way back to the parking lots at park closing!

We watched them one night last week from the monorail. The driver even stopped the monorail until the fireworks were over.

We watched them last year on the Grande Gathering fireworks cruise (music is piped in). TOTALLY AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
