Mother-in-law LOVES lobster/lobster tails. Can anyone recommend a restaurant in the parks or in one of the resorts to get great lobster?

The only place I can think of in the parks would be Coral Reef and it would be VERY Expensive.

If you have a car and are there on a Tuesday night I recommend the Shells in Kissimmee. Great deals on Lobsters!

Although it not "normal", the Yachtsman Steakhouse has had some live whole lobsters for the past few weeks ranging from 1 1/2 lbs up to 3+
They always have Austrailian Lobster Tail on the menu, and I am not sure where the whole lobsters are from, it is just that I have seen them being served recently.

Shula's also has Maine lobsters. They are incredible but also very pricey. If you don't wish to drop a bundle then offsite is your best bet. If price is not a huge concern or it's just to inconvenient to go off property, then I highly recommend Shula's, I've had one of my best lobsters there and I'm from New England.

Lobster....that is easy..Narcoossee's has Lobster, they have had Lobster for as long as I can remember. Lobsters is their thing. Narcoossee's is the BEST SEAFOOD restaurant on property (IMO)

I agree. We've been having lunch or dinner at Narcoossee's since GF opened and lobster has always been on the menu on our trips. These days the restaurant is only open for dinner and the current version is with vanilla suace I think.

We used to do the gold plan and would pop over to Narcoossee's for lunch and order lobster. Oh, sweet memories!

I agree - Narcoossee's lobster is wonderful. We just had it on 12/14 and there is no more vanilla sauce (no vanilla sauce in July either).

Last week when I ate at Le Cellier they had a special to add on to your main meal - lobster tail for 10.99. Of course, I had to spoil myself and get it. It was perfect! The best part of my meal at Le Cellier!

I was going to say that Le Cellier has had a lobster tail add on in the past. I was a little skeptical as it had some kind of maple butter glaze or something.....................but it was one of the best lobster tails I ever had. The delicate maple flavor just enhanced the natural sweetness of the lobster. Highly recommended!

I know the original poster asked for places on property, but another place to get good lobster and New England style seafood is the Celebration Town Tavern.

Obviously Maine lobster is going to cost a bit more than you might pay in Maine, but at the Tavern, you aren't paying the premium for being on Disney property.

And it is a NICE place too. In warm weather, you can sit outside at one of the covered gliding "picnic table" seats.

Fulton's at DTD has lobster. Good but pricey.

You wouldn't believe it, but we had the best lobster ever at Bistro de Paris. They have a lobster served in its own bisque, with excellent vegetables in there too. It was so tender and fresh -- way better than Fulton's lobster the night before. And the price was good, and the service was great! Of course, don't forget the souffles and dessert sampler afterwards.

Just an FYI, when we ate at Narcoosees two weeks ago, I think the lobster was $52...

Once in a blue moon there will be lobster offered at Cape May's New England Clambake. The usual extra offer is for crab legs though.

Coral Reef's lobster is disgusting. Narcoosee's is not worth the money. I'll stop now, because I am totally biased against seafood in WDW, and Fl in general!

If you are desperate for good seafood in FL, you'll need to seek out a local place. Or better yet, rent a DVC vacation home and cook your own. :D

never had it ther but Rainforest cafe has it also.

I was on a lobster kick on our Aug 2002 trip. I had Florida lobster tail, North African lobster tail (from Jiko), and Maine lobster tail (from Le Cellier).

Le Cellier was by far the best. Cold water lobster is usually better anyway. As Chip126 stated, you can add it on for a price. I wanted it as my entree. I think it was around $14, which included the side dish/vegetable. Great deal.

Off the top of my head I know Coral Reef and Fulton's offer lobster. I think Cap n Jacks might too. You can always browse the menus at wdwig.

For something different I recommend the Lobster Tortellini at Palio! It's the best entree at WDW! :)
