best place for Filet...

OK, so I was set to ask for LeCellier for an ADR, because I want to have a great steak while in WDW. I LOVE a good filet.....BUT...I HATE mushrooms! So I am thinking maybe I should try to book someplace else to get my filet.

Where else can I get a great filet?? Preferably one WITHOUT mushrooms!

So...I hate mushrooms, too--HATE THEM--but the filet at Le Cellier is wonderful and I LOVE that mushroom rice. I know. It's crazy. But it's sooo good.

Also, I will highly recommend the filet at California Grill, Narcoossees, and Citricos. Yum, yum, and yum.

I've also heard great things about Shula's. And although I love Yachtsman Steakhouse, I've not had their filet, so I can't say yay or nay. I do love their ribeye, however.

I hate mushrooms. No matter what form they come in, or how highly recommended. Don't want them even touching my food.

So I ordered the Filet at Le Celier without the mushroom risotto.

I had the server substitute the cream cheese mashed potatoes which were unbelievable.

I have had the filet at Port Orleans Riverside three times and it was great every time.

Well, at Teppan Edo you can upgrade the sirloin steak to filet for an additionl $7.50. Cooked to order - just let the show chef you don't want mushrooms and you won't get any. Quite delicious!!!

OH MY GOODNESS, YUMMMMMMMMM.

We had this one night and it was so good that we went back a second night so that we could have it again and it was just as good the second time! Now being that we are Australian's it had absolutely nothing to do with the fact that it was Australian Beef! I promise! The macaroni under it was just so delicious too.

I love a great filet,yachtmans steakhouse is very tender.Jiko is known for thier filet.I had it there a few years back,very good indeed.

I love mushrooms, but you can request the filet without.

I went to Le Cellier , and I really hate mushrooms. They made the filet for me without them , and I had mashed potatoed instead of risotto.

I 'd my birthday filet at Cali Grill... it came out perfectly cooked to my request (med rare) and went great with a glass of cab.

Another vote for Jiko!!! YUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Filet with mac and cheese is amazing, outstanding, scrumptous, the stuff legends are made of, whatever you want to say. Shula's is good too, and Cali Grill did pretty well when we had filet there. Not surprisingly, one of the best filet meals i ever had a WDW was at V&As - you certainly get what you pay for there.

The filet at Shula's in the Dolphin was melt in your mouth.

Get the Le Cellier without shrooms and get the mashed potatos on the side - had it multiple times that way myself and always good.

That said, DW had the filet at Cali Grill last trip and it was amazing. I wish I had ordered it even though my fish was very good. But that CG filet was top notch.

While I don't like steak (or meat in general), my husband claims he had the best filet he's ever had from Jiko. It looked so good that I even wanted a bite, but he didn't want to share.

I'll put a vote in for Chefs de France. It was the best filet I have ever had.
