Best place for dinner around Disneyland

I would put in my two cents worth for Goofy's Kitchen as well. First of all you can ride the monorail, assuming it's running, from the park and back again. Even if it isn't running while you're there the walk isn't too far. I've done it before with little ones. Secondly, the kids and adults love the character interaction. Some of the characters there are able to talk with you (Belle, Fairy God Mother, Mad Hatter) and everyone enjoys their antics. Everytime I've been there we have had lots and lots of time with the characters. Third, the buffet is good and has a large variety of food from various types of salads to roast beef and special hot dishes as well as kid favorites and yummy desserts. I have always thought it was worth the money and if your uncle or any of you have a premium passport you get a discount. I consider this one a sure thing!:thumbsup2

I was just trying to remember the name of "that great place" when I saw everyone else's votes. Nice walk over. We have also eaten at Tony Roma's, which is always good.:thumbsup2

Where is Mimi's and what type of food is served?:surfweb:

Sure did help. Thanks!

I don't think that the OP was planning on going in the parks. You can only ride the monorail if you are going into the park (the monorail delivers you right into Tomorrowland).

I wouldn't go to Goofy's for the food. It isn't about the food - it is okay to very good, but not great. However, it you want character interaction for the kids, it is a great place to go. They would have fun and it would feel very Disney.
