best place for cheap last minute hotel rates??

Has anyone tried Priceline or a website like this? I'm trying to bid on a room but it says they will only guarantee 2 people. We have 3 in our party.

Any other places I can find a cheap hotel room? for tonight and tomorrow night.

bookit.com or trasvelzoo.com
travelzoo is like a huge search engine for traveling. They have a last minute section that may help, but I think bookit.com will be the best plave to check. I have used them in the past without any problems.
