Best Place for Character meal?

Hi!

My family and I are doing to WDW right after Christmas and we are staying at Coronado Springs. We want to make one of the meals a character meal but I'd like to ask the pros here which restaurant is the best one to go to.

Chef Mickey's in the Contemporary Resort is our favorite for dinner. DD11 loves the peel & et shrimp. DS7 loves the prime rib. Lots of character interaction too. I'm sure many will post both for & against this character meal. It seems to get a wide variety of reviews but we love it. I think you'd better try & book any ADRs real quick though as you may already be into your 90 day mark. Have fun! I'm jealous!

Well, knowing the age and gender of the kids would help, but I'll give you my picks:

Girls - Cinderella's Royal table breakfast or lunch. Princess Storybook Breakfast at Norway.

Boys - Donald's Restaurantosaurus in AK. Cape May breakfast at Beach Club.

Both - 1900 Park Fare at Grand Floridan (Cinderella, Prince C. and the mice) dinner. 1900 Park Fare breakfast (Mary Poppins, Pooh, Bert, Alice, characters do change sometimes). Crystal Palace (Pooh characters), all meals.

Best all around - Chef Mickey's. More characters, best variety. Food, OK, but I'd pick breakfast.

I have 2 girls, 10 and 4 and one is a very picky eater. She'd eat a napkin before she'd eat shrimp or steak. We have the dining plan, too.

They have a pretty good variety of stuff at all the buffets---

Best for fun atmosphere-Chef Mickey, we also prefer breakfast

Best food--1900 Park Fair dinner, (have not tried breakfast, but will in two weeks!!!)

Most "special" feeling- Cinderella's Royal Table at the castle
