We would love to have a nice sit down breakfast the next time we are in Disney. We have done CRT so we do not want to do another character breakfast. Any suggestions?

Boma at Animal Kingdom Lodge is great, as is Kona Cafe at the Poly. Boma is a non-character buffet with an amazing selection, service and atmosphere. Kona has an a la carte menu and is very convenient to Magic Kingodm.

Am I understanding this correctly? You want suggestions for another breakfast which does NOT have characters??? If so, i'd suggest Kona or GF Cafe. I heard Whispering Canyon has a good breakfast as well.

As for character breakfasts, tusker house and ohana are two good ones.

In the Crescent Lake area outside the Epcot International Gateway, I like Captain's Grille at Yacht Club and Fresh at the Dolphin. I have not tried Kouzzina for breakfast.

Cat Cora's (Iron Chef) place on the boardwalk has wonderful and unique breakfast items. I loved it.

1a) Grand Floridian Cafe (maple vanilla french toast is the best I've ever had anywhere), beautiful setting for breakfast, too

1b) Kona Cafe (a very close second), gets bonus points for the Kona coffee press pot

Kona, Boma and Trails End are all good IMO, in that order.

For a non-character breakfast I love Kona at the Poly and Kouzzina at the Boardwalk, unless you want buffet, then my choice would be Boma at AK Lodge.

Boma would be #1 for me, by a long shot. Though Boatwrights was right up there with Boma back when they served breakfast (Banana Stuffed French Toast, anyone?).

Kona would be 2nd.

Boatwright's used to be our favorite. So disappointed they stopped serving breakfast. We will be trying The Wave this year since they have the sweet potato pancakes the I loved at Boatwright's. Kona and Grand Floridian Cafe are both excellent as well.

Have you tried Kouzzina yet? If you liked Boatwrights' sweet potato pancakes, you might like the "Stacked Kouzzina Breakfast", which comes with sweet potato hash, kalamata olive toast and a delicious artichoke spread.

For us GF Cafe has a little edge over Kona because it is quieter & more relaxing. I love getting a window seat at GFC and looking at the grounds.
