I am wanting to do a breakfast (preferably character) with the kids. What do you guys recommend?

First choice...Cinderella's breakfast (this has to be booked 180 days in advance). We do this everytime we go and our kids love it. The food is ok but eating in the castle with all the princesses is just way to cool!! (Great idea for this is to book as early in the am as possible...the photo ops of the castle and of the Walt/Mickey statue are awesome because the park is empty!!!)

The Norwegian restaurant (name escaping me) is a tie if you want princesses. we have never eaten here but the reviews haven't been bad.

Personal favorite...1900 Park Fair at the GF. Awesome food and great resort
to walk through, character selection so-so (last time we went is was Alice,
Mad Hatter, and some others). This is the best breakfast buffet in WDW in my opinion.

You could also consider Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary...never eaten there but have heard good reviews. Ohana's at the Poly is served family style and that restaurant has a great view of the castle. Aloha Minnie and freinds at this one.

...Ok this isn't helping, is it?:confused3 Try this: Pick the character breakfast whose characters best match the kid's liking. Our DD loves the princesses, and our boys love the castle, so it's easy for us. But there are lots to choose from. Good luck and have a great time!

Most relaxing & great food-Cape May at Beach Club & our favorite. Goofy, Chip & Dale with Minnie greeting out front

2nd favorite is Ohanas because Stitch is there. People complain about Stitch all the time but I have never seen more excited kids then when Stitch came out at Ohanas.

 The Crystal Palace at the Magic Kingdom Park.
You can never go wrong with Winnie the Pooh and his friends.
The food is great! :thumbsup2 My family has had breakfast and lunch there before.

It might be helpful to go to the Dining Finder on the WDW website and check out all the character dining places and go with the characters the family likes best. I sure the kids will have a blast no matter what. :thumbsup2

Thanks yall!

What time do the buses start running? We are staying at All Star Music....so gotta figure out the time thing!

We decided to do CRT for Breakfast...I think the girls would like eating in the castle!

I'm with Kae. The Cape May breakfast is great food, great service, and wasn't crowded even when we went in June. We had plenty of character time and they came around to the tables and even sat down with us while we ate. They have a yogurt bar which totally amazed my DS17. He could have been fine if that would have been all there was to the buffet! And... as an added bonus, if you go to Cape May, stop by and say hi to Art!!! He is wonderful!!!!

A early as you can get it breakfast at Crystal Palace. You get into the park before it opens, and as you are walking down mainstree to CP, you can get some pretty nice shots of the castle without thousands of people in the way!!!

Our favorite is 'Ohana. The food is very good as is the service and you get wonderful interaction time with the characters. Chef Mickeys is fun, although I was'nt honestly impressed with the quality of the food. CRT is great if your wanting the princess's and you get to eat in the castle! :)

O'hana's with lilo, stitch, mickey and pluto. It is the best we have been to yet! The food is family plate all you can eat, the characters are a hoot. They parade around the room, its the best.

Where are you planning to be that day? I tend to find that the best breakfasts for kids are the ones closest to the fun!

Here are a few, I recommend going right when the place opens for breakfast service, the place is usually not that crowded.

1. For girls, the Princess Breakfast in Norway. Even though my nieces barely ate a bite the look on their faces when they were interacting with the Princesses was priceless

2. Cape May at the BC. First thing in the am it is super quiet and you get a lot of character time. Food is very good, awesome bread pudding and yogurt bar.

3. CP because you can get in the park at 8 am.

We really enjoyed Chef Mickey's breakfast. See all the big characters and there was a ton of good food to choose from. We actually did more of a "brunch" - we made an 11 AM ADR. We went to MK for opening, did several rides with no/little wait, then hopped the monorail over to the CR for brunch. Worked out great for us. We were on the DDP, so that was our big meal for the day, we used CS for dinner. Oh, we did feed the kids a light breakfast in the room before we headed to the MK so they weren't hungry.
