YUM. My favorite food and I was thinking if there was to be a special night out for dinner, this is what I'd want to order! :lovestruc Just something simple nothing stuffed or part of a pasta or rice dish- just a big tail.

Any ideas or reviews? :flower3:

I'm interested in this, too. DH LOVES lobster, but hates most Disney restaurants. Yeah, I know...:sad2: I'd love to find a place on-site with great lobster to woo him over to "dark" side.

Bluezoo, Shula's or Fulton's.

If you are on the dining plan, your only option is Narcoosees, and I think the tail is available only with surf & turf there.

Definitely the Lobster Pound Restaurant in Lincolnville Beach, Maine. Best lobster I've ever had. ;)

Oh, you meant at WDW? Never mind...

I don't believe that it is possible to buy just a lobster tail in Maine. You have to buy the whole lobster. Of course that is not a bad thing since the best meat is in the claws and knuckles.

A coworker said Narcoosee's was the best lobster tail he had ever had. A year and a half later he still raves about it. I think it was a twin tail even.

Fultons makes a killer fried lobster tail...so light and tender and sweet! I order it every single time we go

Really pig out and have the shellfish dinner for two at Fulton's -- absolutely one of the best seafood experiences we have had -- again and again....

When we say lobster tail, are we referring to a Maine lobster tail? Or a Caribbean lobster tail?

I love Maine lobster, but the Caribbean version just doesn't measure up.

Narcoossee's offers a whole main lobster. (and an excellent view of wishes;))

I prefer Maine more, as well.

And I've seen reports that the full lobster is the Maine Lobster, but if you get the lobster tails from the surf and turf, they use Caribbean lobster. A lot of people feel the same way about the different kinds of lobster that Jeff mentioned in the quoted post above. If the type of lobster matters to the OP, I'd skip the surf and stick with full lobster "turf" only.

TDC Nala has it right--those are the best three places.
The lobster tails at Narcoossee's are small and rubber-like in taste.

Fulton's would be the best choice.

Fulton's! We ae there just over a week ago -- DD5 had a lobster tail as her dinner and gobbled it up in a flash. DH had surf and turf, filet and lobster tail, same thing. Delicious!

I loved the whole Maine lobster at Narcoossee's  It wasn't too messy and it was wonderful eating lobster while sitting in view of the castle :thumbsup2

The lobster pound in Lincolnville is one of our favorites! My favorite is Red's eats in Wiscaaset.

DH told me earlier tonight that he wishes we were in Maine right now so he could eat at Red's! :) Yummy!
