Best place for a Chocolate Malt (not shake...Malt!)

I love chocolate malts and it's hard to find a place that's not stingy with the malt.

What's the best place around WDW to get one?

I have a confirmed reservation (I just can't bring myself to say 'ressie' ) for there on my 2nd night 6:35pm...hopefully enough time to eat and go stand in line for Fantasmic!


Thought maybe the Beach and Cream (?) at BC would, too?

Both Beaches and Cream and the 50's Prime Time, as well as the Plaza Restaurant have good Malts. You can ask for extra malt in them as well (that's how I like them!)

I second 50's Prime Time! Although I can't say for sure about the chocolate part, DS says they make the very BEST vanilla malt he's ever had anywhere - and that's saying a lot! As a former "fountain girl" I can tell you, it has to do with whether they use malt syrup or powder. They syrup makes a much better malt.

I don't know about Beaches and Cream....I was there in Nov, walking around while kids went to sleep, bought a chocolate malt, took one sip and threw it out. It was horrible! I don't know if I just had someone new make it or what, but it wasn't that good. The only other one we tried was at the Plaza for my DDs. They liked it, but I tried it, and it still tasted like a shake to me. I would love to know if someone found good malts also.

I've a feeling I'm going to be on a Chocolate Malt recon tour and I'll certainly post my feedback afterward.

There just MUST be a great malt somewhere down there. Perhaps it *is* at 50s Prime Time Cafe.

I don't know about the syrup. I sorta like the powder, gives it that gritty sorta taste with the malt in there. mmmm mmmmm

Ghiradelli's for sure. I always get a vanilla malt when we stop there. Their chocolate malt is a little to sweet for me.

Another Wildcat fan that loves chocolate malts! I too like the gritty feeling from the real malt powder. It just seems more natural and old fashioned to me. Do any places in the MK have them? We probably will not be going to MGM. Also, can you use a DDP snack credit?

I"ve always gotten them from Beaches and Cream and they're usually quite good. I'm going to order one from Ghiradelli's the next time I'm there!
