Best Place for a 4 year old's B-Day Party

ive got the charcter meals paid for with the meal plan from disney company
but also get away today.com has good prices on meal voucthers

Just wanted to mention that DD & I will be having dinner @ Ariel's place this Dec. I have already purchase vouchers for our meal from Ares ~ http://arestravel.com/77_DisneylandResort.html#food

I saved quite a bit of money and it's already paid for! The voucher includes tax & tip and I assume we can sit inside or out, I'm planning on inside.

Is it possible to purchase the vouchers alone without a package???

WOW! I've never known about those vouchers, thanks for letting me know! I wonder which is cheaper to get an AP discount which is 10% or buy some of those vouchers. My DH and I are considering buying AP's since we may end up going back to DL later in the year or summer.

We did outdoor seats there in....I think it was April......the weather was nice enough, but in October last year I carried a jacket with me. Just a sweatshirt but it was nice to have. :) You know, I should have gone with the Mickey bucket, I think my DD8 would have liked a lot more. DD12 didn't want one, she said she was too old. :( I let her pick pins instead. :)

Oh yes, we'll have jackets at all times with us! We're from Arizona and always bring jackets to DL with us, since we're very wimpy with cold weather!
Even in the summer we need out jackets once the sun goes down.

Our AP's only save us 10% so Ares was the better deal. I couldn't get prices for Dec. when I called Disney Dining last week but the CM and I agreed they certainly wouldn't be less then they are now (prices vary depending on the season). So with the prices for Ariel's now even saving 10% with my AP Ares won out.

That's good to know, thanks for the info, my math is not so good...but I suppose since the vouchers include tax and tip that makes them a better deal. Does Ares send the vouchers to you in the mail or can you print them out at home? I'll discuss with DH tonight about getting the vouchers, and again thanks so much for your input on this! :goodvibes

Vouchers are picked up @ the ticket booth, I printed some sort of verification but I'm sure my foto ID will be all I need, you enter in the date you will arrive @ DLR in so they'll have an idea of when you'd pick them up.

Bag????

Thats what I was wondering, i am going to tell them its his birthday when I book Goofys kitchen, so was thinking of saving the bucket for another time.... dilemmas huh! :rotfl:

its small and just a few small things my ds liked it but this year we decied to get the bucket
the bag was 5 the bucket will be 22

Can you add these buckets to a breakfast at Goofys Kitchen? Or where else can I get them from? I think I'd like one with a dinner, but only place we were planning on sit down was probably Cafe orleans, do they do them?

Yes, you can get them at Goofy's but I'm not sure what other restaurants carry them. I would call Disney Dining and check with them. We got ours at the birthday party at Plaza Inn, but I've heard that a lot of the full-service restaurants carry them. I ordered it ahead of time when I made the PS for DS's birthday. We went to Goofy's kitchen for breakfast before the party and I ordered the birthday bag which Jade mentioned above. It was $5 (not sure if it still is that price) and came with some small toys inside and a button which said something like "I celebrated a birthday at Goofy's Kitchen". I'll see if I can find some pics of what came with the bag. If you want to get both the bag and the bucket, I would get the bag at Goofy's because they are the only place that carries it and then get the bucket somewhere else. :)

Thanks for the info! :goodvibes Great! Are they picked up at the booth at DCA or the main ticket booths outside the parks? At least I won't have to worry about getting them in time for Oct. 11 either way.

Main ticket booths I think is the only option. I believe you can pick up vouchers for places like Goofy's Kitchen at the front desk for the DLH, I don't know if you have to be a guest of the hotel or not.
