Best picture size?

I'm trying to figure out how to edit my sig pic to be a little smaller. I am using photobucket and have it set to message board size. Should they be smaller?

The size you have now is fine. The guidelines say no larger than 550 pixels wide x 200 high. Yours is 160x120, well within the guidelines.

But the picture file is 42KB, which is pretty big. The total combined file sizes for all images is limited to 50KB, so you're good for now. But you probably won't want to add a third image or you'll likely be over.

I want the pic to shw up the same size as your dd's pic in your sig. I keep resetting it in photobucket and then again in my users cp but it's still showing up very large. Fellow Red Sox fan here, obviously with the thumbs down in front of the Yankee store!
