I'm heading to WDW in 24 days (ahh!) I purchased Memory Maker and I really want to get my moneys worth. What are some creative poses everyone does with the characters?

I thought it would be a fun way to get some ideas and see what ideas everyone has! I always want to ask for fun pictures but I get nervous lol

Thanks everyone!

Don't be nervous at all! A lot of the photographers will actually pose you, especially if you look like you are having fun!

Magic shots were my favorite! Check the Disney Photopass facebook page, they have a listing of all shots and where to get them for each park. There's also a posting on this board, but I found the facebook page was easier to use because you could see the shot too! The PP photographers were happy to take them, especially if you asked specifically for one.

You will love Memory Maker! It came with my AP and my sister and I ended up with 538 photos/videos (of course some were duplicates, but probably over 400 unique shots)! We have so many awesome photos of the two of us that we never would have gotten if we were only using our cell phones!

Ask every photographer you stop for if they have a magic shot. Most will do it without prompting. But we had to ask a few to do then.

I had my daughter hold a Mickey ice cream sandwich out in front of her on the bridge at AK.

We also stopped on the way out of MK to get one of her sleeping. I actually picked her up out of her stroller and held her and she never woke up.

Also on the “back” trail from Africa to Asia there is a small trail that is hard to see that leads to a photopass photographer that gets a good shot of the backside of the tree behind you. He was just standing there and I asked him what he took a picture of. And he walked us down.

Magic shots, yes. After a photopass photographer takes a pic, then ask for a magic shot. They might ask you to pose a certain way.

If you ever see Donald Duck, try to get a pic with "him." He (they) have a personality of being super funny, and hamming it up for pics, imo.

If you're in WS at Epcot, around the IG, take some close looks around for meandering characters, OR, a photopass set up near the Friendship boats there.

If you can ride something that has ride photos a few times, try to time them right. I've seen a young kid timing Everest perfectly - looked like she was resting her head on her hands to sleep. 7d, Splash, Buzz, and Everest are easy to time.

Non photo pass: The speedway can make for some great poses before you load, OR, from the grandstands - I got a few great shots of our son having the time of his life driving. People Mover can get you some great shots, and holy balls, if you can manage it, you can take some incredible pics on the space thing (forget the name) - the rocketship spin ride that you take the elevator to? Astro - whatever?

The best way to get your money's worth is this: while at WDW take as many pics as you can...then when you get home, go to your photo account and start editing your pics by adding elements and borders and dates that are supplied on the website...by the time you have made all your edits and enhancements, you will have so many pics on your account...I have been on trips where I took say 20 or so pics...by the time I was done with the edits I had HUNDREDS of pics on my account...Disney had to send me multiple CDs with all my pics on them...THAT'S how you get your money's worth....LOLOLOLOL....
