My daughter will have her 16t birthday while we are at Disney next June. I want to do something special for her. We celebrated her 14th birthday at Cinderella's. It was okay but nothing special. The CMs never even said happy birthday to her. Seemed a little odd to me since we have celebrated many events at Cinderella's and have always gotten the red carpet treatment. Any how, does anyone have an idea? There will be about 15 in our party.

I know you said "park restaurant," but what about a dinner show? I think HDDR would be great for such a large party. You don't have to worry about tips, and I'm sure they would incorporate your daughter into the show.

DW and I were there on our engagement trip. My mother called ahead and told them, and they brought me up on stage. I performed a bit in one of the skits. DW took great photos and it was a fun memory.

As for a "park" restaurant, I'd have to know what your daughter likes, and what kind of atmosphere you want. 15 people is a large group. What about LTT in MK for a character meal? Have fun whatever you choose. :thumbsup2

I went to Tony's (in MK) for my birthday and had alot of fun. They decorate the table with Mickey sparkles, and then the waiter gives a free dessert and makes everyone swing around their napkins.

Coral Reef might also be cool because the year before I went here with my mom and this time we celebrated together (we're one day apart), and they sat us near the aquarium and then scuba mickey came swimming over to our table, which was very exciting. (But I can't guarantee that this will happen) However, your daughter will get a really delicious dessert, kind of like a lava cake.

For both these places you will have to let the restaurant know about the birthday ahead of time and make sure to get her a birthday pin from AK, MK, or Epcot (or all 3 like I did)! I've been in WDW for several birthdays and these two were the most exciting to me, but Ukwildcat had a good idea as well, maybe the Spirit of aloha dinner show? We're trying that this August for my mom's birthday! Good Luck.

For a nicer dinner inside the parks, try Brown Derby--I was there for Thanksgiving Dinner with 9 people, and it was wonderful!

I let my car-driving, boyfriend-loving, rock-music-playing DD16 pick one restaurant for dinner during our upcoming trip. Her choice...........CRT. :)
