Best park on Memorial Day

What's the best park on Memorial Day?

I assume MK is the worst on a holiday Monday. Am I correct?

Would either Epcot or AK be more doable? We do fine with big crowds, but don't want to go to the busiest park that day if it's avoidable. DHS could be a madhouse if Toy Story Land opens, so right now I'm thinking Epcot or AK on the holiday.

Thoughts on either?

This year we did HS in the morning then swapped to Epcot in the afternoon. I think Epcot is a solid choice because it'll probably be the last day of Flower and Garden festival. So that might be something you want to do. HS and MK will likely be the worst choices, AK could be a toss up but probably less busy. Just my personal guess!

I know this wasn't a choice, but my write-in candidate is a water park :) We've only been once on Memorial Day weekend, and we did TL on the holiday. MK was pretty slammed that whole weekend. But compared to later in the summer, all still pretty good.

Well, my write-in would be to make it a pool day or a travel day. :goodvibes Obviously if it's a short trip this isn't usually an option, but that's what I'd want to do. We always expect crowds at Disney and take it in stride, but holiday weekends are so much worse. I think the crowds get worse the deeper into the weekend you get, with a peak on Monday. We just experienced the same thing Labor Day weekend at Disneyland.

Definitely my experience too. I personally would let park hours, ADRs, and FP pick which park which day; they'll all be crowded but do-able. And :daisy: hi, from another TN DIS'er!!

We were at Epcot on Memorial Day a few years ago. Wasn't really bad, but a little more crowded than a busy summer day. The pool at the Boardwalk was much more crowded on Memorial Day also if you are thinking about making it a pool day.

Another year we went to Magic Kingdom on Memorial Day Monday and the following Wednesday. I thought Wednesday was much busier at Magic Kingdom. However, I believe that day was the official opening of the Mine Train.

We've gone a couple times around Memorial Day and always got out of town before the actual holiday. Next year we will be there over the holiday so I'm curious how to handle too. I was thinking either Epcot or DHS.
