We have done Epcot on hogmany and it was fantastic. The atmosphere is great(we stayed in from 9am-1am) not sure though if it was full to capacity.
We had an adr at Rose and Crown for 7pm after seeing the New Year in around the UK pavillion.

totally agree its the best place, done it several times be there again this year

We've done MK twice now and had the most amazing time. It is though a very full day and the crowds do get a bit much at times. Both times we've been the park has been closed for further admissions by lunchtime. Whichever park you plan to spend it in I'd advise making a reservation for dinner somewhere as this offers a welcome break from the crowds for a while. Just be warned to do it soon if you will be there this year as I made my Xmas day one right on 180 days for Liberty Tree Tavern and had to have lunch instead of dinner as dinner was fully booked out all night
