If faced with a rainy day, what park would you recommend? We're going in June (34 days!), and I know that typically afternoon storms are brief, but in case we have a rainy day, I would like to have a plan. Thanks!

Hi,

I'm not sure about the answer to your question, but the chances of you getting a rainy day in mid-June (meaning overcast and raining from morning till night) are pretty slim.

I would suggest Epcot or MGM for the many indoor attractions. The rain might keep crowds down (at least in the morning) at MK, so that could be an option. I will tell you that I was at AK in the rain once, and I did NOT enjoy it....of course it was wintertime too, so it wasn't nearly as warm as it would be in June....don't worry too much about the weather!

I was at MK once and it rained all day. It wasn't bad as there are alot of rides inside. However, there are some that are outdoors and well, you just get wet! The good thing was that it scared away alot of crowds. The way we looked at it was, well, we are here, we're not going to let the rain stop us. We're going to have fun anyway. I think though, MGM may be better if you know it's going to rain. Most everything is indoors. You'd just miss Fantasmic if it rained in the evening. I shouldn't say "just" as that show is awesome!

Bring a poncho andpick your favorite one! Crowds will br low and you can do lots of stuff inside!

We did MK one morning in the rain. It was the best day we had on the trip.
