Best Park for Mother's Day..crowd wise

We will be arriving around 12 noon on Mother's Day. I have ruled out MK because I thought it would be too crowded being a Sun and Mother's Day. Since we will be getting up at 3am for 5:30 flight, I'm not too sure how long the kids (or us old folks) will be feeling lively.
So my actual question is....What park to do on 1/2 day, being Mother's day.
I thought we would check in and store luggage. Maybe head over to MGM for a while, take late afternoon break and then go back over to MGM for Fantasmic. But that doesn't leave much time for rides that day and would still need another day there later.

Thoughts please and Thank you

We were at MK in the afternoon on Mother's Day in 2000, 2001 & 2003, it wasn't overcrowded. We went to Epcot in the late morning to get our picture taken (similiar to MVMCP pics).

I would think any park BUT MK would be fine.

What we always do on arrival day is non-park stuff since we don't want to burn a hopper day! We check in and if we can't get in the room yet, head over to DD or a resort for a late lunch. When we get a room, we stay by the pool and then that night go play mini-golf or we've gone to DQ or last time took an Illuminations Cruise. This year we're going to go to PI since DD will be 18!

We spent the whole day at MK on Mother's Day in 2002. The park was not crowded at all. Longest wait was Splash Mtn. We didn't do FP for that and the line was 20 minutes. We'll be there on Mother's Day this year too, unfortunately that is the day we leave to come home!!

We were there last year for Mother's Day and spent the day in Epcot. The crowds were very low and it was a great day. At the entrance they hand out carnations to all the women, and we did the Mother's Day Brunch in the World Pavilion (?) which was by far one of the best meals I've had at disney. I think it goes from the morning to sometime in the early afternoon - so you could try to do it in the afternoon as a late lunch/early dinner. There were a ton of choices and lots of food!! Both breakfast and dinner type foods. My favorite was the pasta bar where they cook your pasta and sauce right in front of you -- you can choose things to add to the different sauces & pasta.

Any way you choose, i think it is a relatively uncrowded time to go- Have a great time!!
