Best over- the- counter wrinkle cream?

I used Oil of "Delay" (as my kids mistakenly called it) for years. When I hit 50 I switched to the stuff from Victoria Principal, its a mail order product. I love the Reclaim moisturizers and eye cream.

I also use the Roc products around my eyes and have noticed an improvement. Now I'm looking for something effective for above my upper lip. It is beginning to "pucker" in that area. I'm only 40 and don't smoke. Anybody know of anything?

Don't you love it? You go to bed at night, sleep on your side and wake up with a huge crease in your chest. IT NEVER LEAVES! I get ready for bed the next night- STILL THERE! What's up with that? And I thought the word "elasticity" was only for rubber bands!

I'd laugh alot harder if it weren't so real!!:rolleyes1

:thumbsup2 Hi again y'all! I just had to check in on those of you who ordered the Roc and have tried it the last few weeks, did you like it? My curiosity got the best of me! And did it work for you like it has me?
Good luck...and may those lines disappear!

I've used Clinique All About Eyes Rich for years. Tried less expensive ones and just didn't see the same results. It's about $30 for small jar.

YES! I do like it. I got a sample of StriVectin and honestly I like the Roc more! Well worth it. (Even though I think I got it for $8.xx shipped from Amazon.)

YAY!!!!! I'm so-o-o-o-o glad!! I always hesitate whether or not to give my thoughts because what worked for me, may not work for you...But I love Roc!

In fact, I really need to order another tube. One tube lasts me for about a year, so to me, it's worth it! We really should have put before/after pics up (but I wouldn't know how anyway:goodvibes)!

Glad it worked for you Mrs Charming!

Sullins 5 - I just picked up the Roc and am hoping for good results. Can't believe I am at the age ( a blessing to be here!) where I have to slap this stuff on every day!

I will give it about a month and then post again!

Thanks!:wizard:

Saw a report on BBC years ago where a doctor was researching what was clinically proven to work besides retin-A, a chemical called retinyl palmitate was shown to work you can find it in Boots No 7- Protect and Perfect Intense Anti-Aging Cream. It's around $20 at Target. You can also find this same ingredient in the Philosophy skin care line but it's more expensive.

I've been using it for 3 weeks and haven't noticed much difference as of yet.

I use the Walmart Equate brand knockoff of L'Oreal Revitalift Eye Cream and stay out of the sun. However, a few wrinkles don't bother me...I'm supposed to have them at age 55.

I finally caved in and got a prescription for retin-a micro. It is $30 w/co-pay and it is the real deal :) I use very little every other night and am pleased with the results after a month. My dr. thought I would just need to refill every 2 months. I've tried everything over the counter and the prescritpion costs less and works better. I'm glad I caved in :)

I should add I stay out of the sun and wear sunscreen every day. I'm 35 and have had skin cancer. I can tell a big difference in people my age that tan and those that don't.

YAY!!! So glad that you ARE staying out of the sun and that you wear sunscreen every day! We love the beach, but even so, you'll find me with my hat on, sunscreen on, and being wise about getting that tan. It's called tan in a can:rotfl:, I really don't mind it. And once you've had a basil cell carcinoma...you really are aware aren't you? And I've been wearing Olay with SPF as long as it's been out!

And you're right, my good friend is 10 years younger than me, tans 2-3 times a week, and also had wrinkles and crows feet. She's probably tired of me telling her, but she knows I love her!

I still love my ROC, and as long as it just 'diminishes' these few fine lines, I'll be a happy girl! But glad yours has worked for you!

Glad you're giving it a try! I still like it! I'll hit 50 this summer (still can't believe it), but very pleased with the Roc and it diminishing fine lines! Let me know how you like it! I realize not every skin type will benefit from it, but for me, it works great. shhhhh...it's my little secret:goodvibes!!!!..and yes, it is a blessing to be almost 50!

Good luck and let me know!:goodvibes

I am trying it (The ROC)I am on my 2nd week.

I am hoping to post good results for my lines.

Has anyone here tried ... RoC Retinol Correxion Eye Cream?

I've tried ROC (the one you can buy at Costco) and it made my skin dry. I've used Olay Regenerist products, and the Target brand generic of Olay Regenerist products. After asking my dermatologist, I tried Cetaphil products. Now I'm trying Kiehl's; I purchased the trial sized $24 set from their store here to try. Stay tuned!

I did! But didn't notice any results...not sure what I was looking for. I don't have crow's feet (yet), but thought it might help with some dark circles and puffy eyes when I wake up. Instead, I use a warm 'baby' wash cloth in the morning (as warm as I can stand it) and that seems to freshen up my 'puffy' eyes pretty well. So now I'm just 'au naturale'...:goodvibes
