Hi all!

By the time we get around to Downtown Disney on our last day, we will have used up our DDP, so we'll be paying out of pocket.

I know Earl of Sandwich comes highly recommended, and we're considering that, but we're also not big sandwich people in general. What are the best out of pocket meals at DD where you're getting the bang for your buck?

Thanks!

Wolfgang Puck Express. It's counter service but still served on china plates and the pizza is delicious (although not as good as Via Napoli!).

Another vote for Wolfgang Puck Express. 2 of us share a pizza and if hungry add a Caesar salad to it. Delicious and doesn't feel like QS.

I agree with PP's... Wolfgang Puck Express is by far our favourite QS in all of WDW; however, it is an expensive QS (one of the best uses of a DDP credit though). Is it possible to pay OOP for one of the park QS meals that you are having and save a QS credit for this meal? OR, the meals here are a good size and could be shared (pizza's, rotisserie chicken meal). Either way, I would recommend eating here. We are not big fans of EOS/sandwiches either, but love WPE! We prefer the WPE in Marketplace location.
Enjoy!

I agree!

T Rex or Rainforest Café, loud but plenty of options that aren't too overly expensive. Cookes (sp?) the QS right outside of Raglan Road. Oh - Raglan Road isn't too bad if paying OOP and it's delicious and fun!

We aren't on a dining plan this go around, but we are planning on T-Rex. We are going to purchase the Landry's membership for $25...our birthdays are in June, so we will have $50 to spend. Plus, I can get Landrys gift cards as cash back on one of my credit cards, so that is another $50. So $25 OOP will probably about feed my family.
