Best (or worst) salads in WDW

Does anyplace still have a taco salad? They used to have it years ago.. it was lettuce, seasoned beef, etc?? I would go to any resort or park to have this again! :Pinkbounc

El Pirate y El Perico has a taco salad. So do the food courts at POFQ and POR.

Some of the best salads I've ever had in my life came from the buffet at Crystal Palace. They are very "different," but soooooo good. They had some normal salads too, but I didn't mess with them...I tried of the new ones. I can't really give much detail on the types of salads that were there because I just don't remember...all I can say is that they were very fresh and very tasty.

The appetizer Ceasar Salad at Coral Reef was nothing but a few whole lettuce leaves with a few croutons. I was on the DDP and added the grilled chicken (which was delicious), but the salad on its own is definitely not worth the money if you are paying OOP.

The side salad at Toy Story Pizza Planet was horrible, but I wasn't expecting much of it since it came with every pizza meal.

Another vote for the salad w/ chicken in it at Pecos Bills in MK.
It comes w/ a lime vinagrette dressing. Delicious.

The house salad at LTT (Goofy's Liberate Your Appetite) with the strawberry vinaigrette is out of this world!!! Then again, the whole meal was fantastic!

I really loved the Frisee salad at AP - Frisee lettuce, thinly sliced tart apple, shaved sharp white cheddar & some kind of yummy vinegrette; actually, I could make a meal out of the salad, the portobello mushroom soup, & the berry cobbler! Le Cellier also has a wonderful lunch salad w/ grilled chicken.

Ummmm, I love salads and always eat a variety of them at WDW.
The Chicken Salad with Lime Vinaigrette from Pecos Bills is good. Big enough to share with a friend.....
Colony Salad from Liberty Tree Tavern, delicious! The apples and pecans............yummy.
Chinese Chicken Salad from Earl of Sandwich. I like that it is mixed right there for you.
Also from Earl of Sandwich, the Cobb Salad. It has dried cranberries in it..........
Any salad you fix from Boma, the dressings are great.

And although not a salad salad, the Fresh Fruit Plate from Flame Tree BBQ.

I cannot remember the name of the counter service place (many counters with foods from different places) in The Land (near Soarin' by the Nestle Cookie baking area)...oh my goodness....they have a wonderful Buffalo Mozzarella and Tomato Basil Salad. YUM...I cannot wait to return and try another one!

I love that salad at Pecos Bills. It has Jicama in it and is also available without the chicken (which is how I get it). I also add a few grilled onions from the salad bar. Another good salad is the Antipasto Salad (it also comes either with or without chicken) at Pinocchio's Village Haus.
Alas, my favorite was the one at CRT lunch-no longer offered-the chicken caesar salad there. Anyone know who serves one similar?

The Vocanic Cobb Salad at the Rainforest Cafe' is really good. I also enjoy many of the salads at Boma.

Seconding the Colony Salad at LTT, and the Beef Tenderloin Salad at Le Cellier. Both very good!! At Le Cellier, I had a blast as I went through the salad and found raspberries! My family laughed as I kept saying "OH, I found another one!!!"

I have to tell you, I was really disappointed in my cobb salad at brown derby. It was way too cold, for one thing. It also seemed a little mushy. Finally, the amount of bacon, egg, and blue cheese was way too much for the amount of greens and tomato. I really like cobb salad, but not that one.

Salads I have enjoyed include the frisee salad with apples and walnuts at Artist Point, the mixed greens salad with lime vinagrette at Coral Reef, and the nicoise salad at Chefs de France.
