Best Option for New Years Eve w/ Kids?

Haven't been to WDW since 2001 and am about to leave for 10 days. What are the best options with kids (9,7,5) on New Year's Eve to get the most in without killing ourselves when the parks close? Willing to endure the crowds until mid-evening then get out of the parks somewhere to a location to just watch fireworks.

Any suggestions?
