We check in to OKW in 12 days. I requested high floor golf course view. Our reservation is in the HH Area. We are not going to check in online. Since we will be at the resort very early (9:30a) I'm going to request a room at the desk. Which building should I ask for to give us the least obstructed golf course view?

The room are assigned 3-5 days ahead, so if you wait until you arrive, you will have slim pickings. Rooms won't be ready until after 4, so plan accordingly.

Even doing online check in ahead of time I do believe the CM'S can change room assignments . I've had better luck NOT doing online check in.

If you're just in a studio, it doesn't much matter about the view, you won't have much of one no matter where you are.

Building 16 isn't quite HH, but close,. The upper level, golf course views are the best we've seen. By the way, we check in the day after you, I think, on the 4th.

Yes, but their reservation apparently IS in the HH area booking category. So, probably the Peninsular Road cluster, bldgs. 23 to 26 would be your best options. Since you'll be arriving early you'll need to set priorities.
Do you want a room that may be available when you check-in, or do you want to wait to get your room until mid afternoon to be able to move-in? Remember, there are no elevators at OKW, so do you really want an upper floor? Will you be toting your own luggage? And as other have said, great views from studio balconies are really the exception, not the rule at OKW because of most studios being located on the ends of buildings. The exception are the few "U" shaped building, where studios are also located where the cross bar meets the verticals of the "U"

Hmm never really thought about the no elevator scenario. Actually first floor would be great but I don't want to hear our neighbors above. Hmmm now you've got me thinking!

If you do go with first floor, unless you require a handicap modified unit, be sure to request a non handicap unit. Because of no elevators all handicap units are on the first floor at OKW...except for bldgs. 62, 63 and 64, the only buildings with elevators, as they were built later and had to meet newer ADA standards.
