Best Offsite Location?

I haven't been to WDW in about 10 years, and I can't remember anything (and I'm sure a lot has changed).

I have access to discounted accommodations thru RCI and II timeshares and the list of available places is long. So, to help narrow my search, what specific location is best?

We want to be able to go to the park early in the morning, go "home" in mid to early afternoon for a few hours to rest and then back to the park later.
