Best offsite hotel for 6 with resort feel, not condo

We are looking for an offsite hotel for a family of 6 that really offers a resort feel to it and not like you're in an apartment. A nice pool with kiddie pool would be great!

I know you said hotel, but Wyndham Bonnet Creek would meet your needs perfectly. It is very much a resort type property. It has pools with slides, a lazy river, mini golf, playground, and loads of activities. If you get a fireworks view, you can watch the Disney fireworks every night. I agree with horseshowmom. Even though Bonnet Creek offers 1,2,3 and 4 bedroom condominium accomodations it is designed to be resort for its visitors. It is also located inside disney property so it is one of the closest condominium resorts you can find. You can rent from many owners on many different sites. You may also find many good deal from owners on these sites. They also offer a free shuttle to the Disney parks if you need one. We have stayed there and really enjoy all the amenities they have to offer.

Bonnet Creek would be a nice spot---I bought into the Wyndham system specifically to be able to stay there. An excellent pool facility. But, it isn't quite a full-service hotel. Until the other hotels in the area are finished, there won't be any full-service restaurant within walking distance. There is also no daily housekeeping. That doesn't matter to me, but it might matter to some.
