We have a Chef Mickey's breakfast planned but would like to try breakfast offsite and have been thinking about Denny's. However I would love to know what all my fellow Dis members consider the best offsite breakfast :D ? On or near I drive would be best since we won't be driving and using the shuttle instead.

Thanks  !

Without a car you really should just limit yourself to whatever is within walking distance. There is a good chance you'll be able to walk to a Denny's, IHOP or something similar.

An alternative would be to take the earliest shuttle bus to your park. Most parks have a place to get breakfast or could could even use Disney transportation to go to a resort.

I have eaten at Denny's restaurants in many different states and they are always the same - good food and lousy service. I haven't been to the one on I-drive but I have been to the one on 192 and it was the same thing. The only reason we still go is we know we can get a decent meal at a good price and are willing to put up with the service in return.

My fam has enjoyed the Shoneys buffet. It was 4.50 pp I think, not including beverages, but with an ample selection of breakfast foods to please 3 very different breakfast eaters.::yes::

Also~ dont dismiss the idea of having a quick bite at the bakery in the park of your choice on some mornings. If you're anything like me, the aromatics from the street/ sidewalk will lure you in anyway:p

Our local Golden Corral has a fantastic breakfast buffet. I was hoping for one near Disney. Is there one nearby, and does it have breakfast??

I don't know which Golden Corral would be closest, but I think all of the ones in the area do a breakfast buffet. We really like Bob Evans. My son was thrilled he could get a hot dog and fries in the morning. Those little coupon books you pick up everywhere have tons of breakfast buffets in them. Whatever you do, do not get the buffet at IHOP!

The one in Lake Buena Vista has a fabulous breakfast buffet. Everything you could possibly think of and then some. It was $6.49 for adults which included your drink and $4.99 for kids. And there are booklets at the entrance with .50 off coupons. We ate there twice. We also ate lunch there and it was great, too. However, we had dinner at the one on 192 and were very disappointed with it. There are I believe, 7 Golden Corrals in the area, but I think only four of them have breakfast. Someone correct me if I am wrong. And I agree with zaxmom, the IHOP buffet was a joke!

I did a search for my name to get a post I'd made even longer ago than this one, and it seems I don't always get an email message to let me know when I've had replies, yikes! I'm sorry, thanks to everyone for taking the time to reply to my post! We are leaving soon and I all the effort and information you nice Dis folk provide, honest!
