Can you tell me what off-site hotels in the Disney area
have the best free Continental breakfast?

We absolutely loved the Fairfield Inn by Marriott in the Marriott Village Lake Buena Vista!!!! It is a 3 star hotel that is fairly new, I believe only a few years old. Its staff was so friendly/and hotel was very very clean :sunny:
We knew we would be getting a free continental breakfast but didnt; expect it to be this good!!! A variety of pastries, crispy creme donots, fruit salad, bagels, muffins, assorted fruit, cereal, yogurt, GIANT BELGIUM WAFFLES, oatmeal, grits and there was so much more on the buffet. Everything was so fresh-we stuffed ourselves silly :teeth: and didn't eat again until dinner.
This hotel also was next door to a Golden coral steakhouse (cheap mediocore buffet) and also next to a Bahama BReeze :thumbsup2 which was excellent!! It was just a two minute stroll away!!!
I can't say enough good things about this hotel-don't book through the site -look around for better prices-I paid in June of 05 $500 for 7 nights including taxes etc. What a great deal for hotel plus breakfast :)

I'm staying at the Marriott Village, but at the Springhill Suites. I image that their breakfast will be identical to the Fairfield........ well I hope so anyway, you make it sound really nice. By the Way, did you make your own waffles? or were they ready made?

Last year we stayed at the Homewood Suites Universal. The breakfast there was excellent too, they had everything mentioned above at Fairfield and also hot breakfast too, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages. Mmmmmmmmm it really was lovely. You should have seen my kids faces when they saw Krispy Kreme donuts on the buffet.

Edit : forgot to mention the waffle maker, just pour in the mixture and beautiful big waffles, yum.

Yes, we made our own waffles!!! You will love Marriott VIllage-did you know that as a marriott guest, you can go and use amenities at the other marriott village hotels?? We pool hopped one day which was fun. The Courtyard has a zero entry pool and is half outside/half inside which my kids loved! You can also use fitness centers at the others etc. My sister in law stayed at springhill suites and she loved it!!! :thumbsup2 I think the buffet there had more items than fairfield inn/. Try doing a search for springhill suites/marriott village on www.tripadvisor.com -there are re... helps!!! You will love this hotel!!! :cool1:

Comfort Suites on 192 next to Old Town is a nice hotel with a good breakfast, waffles, different pastries, cereals, bagels, yogurt, applesauce, juices. I've stayed at a lot of hotels with free breakfast and this one is maybe as good or better than most but I like this one cause a lot of hotels have a very small breakfast area with limited seating, this Comfort Suites seating holds a good amount of people!!

Best one weve had was at the Embassy Suites LBV, really funny chef who keeps the lines amused, and cooks eggs to order - could certainly teach most London hotels a thing or two about hospitality!

We loved this location....I would say WDW was less than 10 minutes away. Seaworld and International Drive area was about the same. We felt it had a nice central location to everything!!!! Downtown Disney seemed less than 5 minutes away. The hotel employees are so friendly!!! They go out of their way to help you. Free coffee/tea/hot chocalate brewing in lobby 24-7. There was also a kids club room that had art supplies/toys/movies-lots of things to keep the tikes busy on a rainy afternoon. Just ask for the key at the desk if you want to play!!! This was at the Fairfield Inn but I am sure the SPringhill has the same if not better. The fairfield inn, springhill and courtyard are close together with a big water fall in the middle. It is a "village" meaning you can use the others pools etc. If you have any questions, pm me :)

I agree, the Fairfield Inn has a very nice breakfast, and the waffles are yummy.

On our last trip, we stayed at the Hawthorn Suites in Lake Buena Vista (for about the same cost as the Fairfield Inn). They have a free hot breakfast, which included eggs, potatoes, sausage, etc., as well as the standard continental fare. They also had a free "happy hour" on weekdays in the late afternoon with snacks, soda, wine and beer.

It's something to consider, especially since you get a one-bedroom suite instead of just a room.

Hawthorn Suites at US on Canada Avenue has a free hot breakfeast which I loved. On Wednesday they have a lighted dinner which was a meal.

Breakfeast was fruit, eggs, bacon, sasage, grits, hasbrowns, pancakes, and oatmal. Coffee, orange juice, apple juice, and mango juice.

We stayed at the Amerisuites LBV in June for $37/night from a Priceline bid. Nice property with a decent continental breakfast. Kids liked the big waffles. Stayed in a big TCB suite too(fridge, microwave, utensils, sleeper sofa). Plenty of room for my family of 5. It was a great deal. Saved a lot of cash for spending in the parks by staying there.

:thumbsup2 Couldn't have said it better ourselves. This is where we stay every time we vacation in Orlando.

We were just at the Embassy Suites (near the convention center) and enjoyed their hot breakfast each morning (served 6:30 - 9:30 weekdays, later start on weekends and holidays). Pancakes, bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, hashbrowns (and even grits, but you have to ask). Cooked to order eggs or omelets, too. Bread and bagels, fresh fruit and yogurt and a variety of cereal, juices, milk, and even soda.

Plenty of seating and also trays if you wanted to take your breakfast back up to the room.

We are planning on going down this Summer 2008.
Any updates to this thread?

Residence Inn Seaworld we always stay there the breakfast is great all hot food different item of food everyday and the hotel is nice the rooms have a full kitchen:thumbsup2

We love...

Buena Vista Suites - Free full breakfast. Everything was very good except the scramble eggs (powered I think:crazy2: ) Also have free made-to-order eggs, etc.

Staybridge Suites - 3 blocks from entrance to DTD and they have a great full free breakfast too.

Fairfield Inn by Marriott on Canada Avenue had good free breakfasts. They had oatmeal , cereal, waffles,a and different fruit. It was enough to hold me until mid afternoon snack of popcorn.
