What is the best number to use when making room only reservations at a disney hotel. I have used the 407- 939 - 6244. Is this the only number available? I have heard that the cms at this number don't work for disney and are contractors does this matter?

I always use (407) 934-7639. This is the Central Reservations Office. You will first get an automated recording that will ask for some basic information ('Are you a previous WDW visitor', 'How long since your last visit', etc.), and then you will get the next available operator.
