For the good food what is the best non buffet breakfast in all of WDW?:dance3: :dance3: :dance3: :dance3:

Spoodles. Pretty much everything is great; I especially like their waffles with marscapone and pecans. They also have the Spoodles Breakfast Platter, which is all-you-care-to-eat of the basic standard breakfast foods, but not a buffet. Plus, the ambiance is lovely in the morning.

We liked Spoodles too, except service was REALLY slow. The manager actually did more for us than the waitress.

We love the Kona Cafe at the Poly the best. the pineapple macadamia nut pancakes are TDF!!!!

How about momosa's and eggs benedict at the Grand Floridian Cafe? That was our adult treat when the kiddos went on the Pirate Cruise earlier this year. Mmmmmmm.

My favorites are Spoodles, Kona, and Boatwrights. Olivia's does pretty well also.

Kona and Spoodles. And BWI/BWV room service, if you ever get the chance.

DisFlan

It looks like Kona may be winning on this one. We had ressies there then cancelled because we are going there for dinner but rescheduled 'cause you all are recommending it.

We may try Spoodles too or GF Cafe or....there's too many to choose:confused:

Thanks :dance3: :dance3: :dance3: :dance3: :dance3: :dance3: :dance3: :dance3: :dance3: :dance3:

Another vote for Kona!!:thumbsup2

Besides the tonga toast, everything else is very good. The smoothies are awesome, the fruit plate is huge and so yummy.

Also, the prices are very reasonable.

Is Kona on the second floor, of the main bldg., kind of out in the open? It doesn't like a great place to eat or am I wrong on this?:confused3

Yes, that is Kona. We love it there and always make a point to eat there at least twice every trip. We love breakfast the best but any meal we have had there has been great. :thumbsup2

It doesn't really feel like it's "out in the open." I love people watching, so it gives me a chance to watch people heading out to the monorail. The other bonus is that you get to see the center of the Poly with the rock formation, the waterfall and all the plants. It's a great restaurant with great food!

IT is "out in the open"--atmosphere is that of a noisy coffee shop. But the breakfast food is good!!

I love breakfast at Kona, and we've also had a very nice one at Olivia's. Kona has great food and a busy, noisy atmosphere. Olivia's is off the beaten path, so it's much more laid back. The staff there treated us like family and the food was wonderful.

Kona Cafe. Banana stuffed french toast and french press Kona coffee. Always a favorite on my trips. :thumbsup2

DH and I tried Kona for the first time a few weeks ago, and really enjoyed it. I had the fruit platter and it was soooooo fresh and yummy. The mimosas were pretty good also. A few days later I tried the fruit platter at Boatwrights, but everything tasted half ripe. But after seeing the posts about GFC...we may have to try it next time!
