just booked for thanksgiving 2018 and know there are lots of new restaurants around since our last trip Easter 2015.

Any opinions on ones not to miss?
I’m not a seafood lover but DD 17 is. We love to eat and try new places.

This will be a belated HS graduation trip. Usually do a combo of TS and QS, not sure yet if doing Dining package.

TIA!

Not sure when you last visited but we really enjoyed the Boathouse at DS, it would suit both fish and meat lovers as it has an extensive menu. We went twice on our last visit and will be returning this December too.

Boathouse is part of the same group that runs Gibson's, a legendary Chicago steakhouse--and Boathouse has Gibson's steaks. The menu is vast and covers large price spread...offers something for everyone.

For QS, you may want to check out D-luxe Burger or Blaze pizza in Disney Springs and Satu'li Canteen in Animal Kingdom.

For fine dining, Tiffins is Animal Kingdom is excellent but quite expensive. I had a fantastic meal there last week.

By Thanksgiving 2018, there will be other new restaurants, too.

Disney's Hollywood Studios now boasts Baseline Tap House in the recently opened Grand Avenue, which does have an extensive list of alcoholic beverages on tap as well as some small snacks.

If you are willing there is also a number of new restaurants in Disney Springs, majority of which have had good reviews.

Thanks for lots of great ideas!!

I will say that we did not enjoy the Polite Pig! :crazy2:
One of my children ate at Morimotos and loved it. I skipped it because they didn't have enough gluten free dishes/options. I'm looking forward to Satu'li in May.

Homecomin, Tiffins and Boathouse are all very good options. Disney Springs in particular has many great recent additions.

Plus, some very promising additions in the coming months, including The Edison, Jaleo, Terralina Crafted Italian, Wine Bar George, the new Wolfgang Puck restaurant, and more. I'm especially excited about Jose Andres' Jaleo.

My "meal of the year" was at Morimoto Asia...I can't wait to go back! I'm super-impressed with what's happening at Disney Springs.

Wow looks like we will be eating a ton in DS!

It's been a year since I've last been to WDW (going next Christmas). Last year we tried Tiffins, Boathouse and Morimoto for the first time. Of them I give the huge and I do mean huge advantage to Tiffins. Not only is this restaurant the best of the new ones in my opinion, but one of the best in WDW. Excellent food, great atmosphere and very good service. Morimoto was a big let down with the server spilling food on a few of us, getting the wrong orders, and having to wait almost 20 minutes to get our beverages after ordering. With all this fiasco, not even a manager came to visit us, even after wearing a plate of food down the back.
