Best new games

Codenames, but you need a good group.
Wits and Wagers, it's funny when everyone thinks your answer is crazy only to find out you were the closest one. ;)
Outburst, always a winner in our house.

and the old fashioned, SORRY! game. We still play it and love it.

I’m looking for a game that’s fun for teens that can also include a 6 yr old. We’re going to spend the holidays with my brother’s family. My kids are 17, 18, 19. And my brother’s are 4 & 6. We know the 4 yr old likely won’t play, but the 6 yr old loves to be included with her older cousins, so a game that could include her would be perfect, since we’ll all be quarantined together in the same bubble at that point.

Yeah, sorry for leaving it vague.

Category was “states”. Letter was “C”. My answer was “confusion”. Other players would not give me credit. I walked away and never looked at the game again.
Something similar happened to me when the category was "Occupations" and the letter was "F." I said "fancy lady" and my family refused to give me credit. Just because their "farmers" couldn't afford to patronize my "fancy lady" didn't mean she wasn't out there earning a living.

No offense to farmers.

We typically go with Ticket to Ride or Machi Koro.

I'm trying to get my kids into Settlers. We'll see how that goes.

We played Kids Against Maturity this summer with family ranging from mid 20's to mid 60's and had a ton of laughs!

Wits and Wagers is a favorite here, even with my one daughter who isn’t that crazy about board games.

Oldest DD and I love Ticket to Ride, but my other girls aren’t fans.

Apples to Apples
Spot It

I used to love Pictionary. I was the only player that could draw, so that made it even more fun.

I currently only have Horrified, the Universal Monsters game, it's pretty decent. It can even be played with one player. Which works for me since nobody I know wants to play these sorts of things.

Saw they just released a Disney Haunted Mansion game that looks interesting. There's also a game based on John Carpenter's The Thing, which works on fueling paranoia between the players.

Uno Flipz. Horribly confusing at first and totally fun once you get the hang of it.

Munchkin. Not new, but absolutely a great game for 3+ people. We have so many sets, and it's fun to mix them together. Cheating isn't allowed /wink

For the 7+ age set, Labryinth. https://www.amazon.com/Ravensburger-Labyrinth-Board-Game-Adults/dp/B00000J0JF?ref_=ast_sto_dp Like chess, you have to think steps ahead, but with less confusing moves. Seven years later, still DS's favorite game.
