Well I knew it would happen someday but I thought I would get to stay on site at least once more before it did. Disney has offically made it completely impossiable (and just not sensable)for me to stay on site again.:sad2:
There are 7 in our family plus a friend, 8 total now.We need a 2 bedroom suite. I would like a kitchette, nice pool area, free continental breakfast,as I have noticed many off-site places offer this so why not get it?
I would prefer transportation to all parks, not just Disney but since we are off-site I figured we will cut back on days at Disney and hit US/IOA and SW as well.
If anyone has any suggestions on somewhere centrally located and a nice family place I could really use the help.
Thanks

Hi there, sorry to hear you can't stay on site. It is pricey, isn't it?
While I haven't stayed there I have read many good things about the above. It is recommended by AllEars.net. They have many many options from homes to townhouses/condos. Prices seem good especially for a group of 8. Enjoy.

try justfloridavacations.com, rent a house I got a $129 price a night for a 4 bedroom 21/2 bath, 2 master suites, screened in pool, hot tub, big screen tv and ps2 for the kids rooms, great space and if you look at the map, take 2 roads down and your at animal kingdom and miss all the traffic on 192 straight to world drive. We loved it and prob wont stay on site again. Dont hate... I did love the cute little incentives, but at 210 square feet per room I wanted to pull out my hair, the full kitchen and laundry is what did it for me. Good luck

Great price for a family suite is the Quality suites Irlo Bronson in Kissimee. We stayed our first trip of 7. There were two bedrooms with two queen beds, and couch that opened. two bathrooms, kitchen full size appliances, dishwasher, table TV X's 3. Great pool and hot tub, tiki bar. Rental shop for post pans etc,

I think the most we paid in May 2 was $89 a night. there are always specials for it on Hotels, com I think I booked, also AAA, and other searches as hotwire. If you book, plane hotel even a greater discoundt. I think it was $49 a night.
The comfort INN next door I was not impressed with when I accidently booked that. The one I wanted was next door , the closer one to Disney,,,,
It is in/near old town a really nice area.
About all we lost was the xtra hours. I think I used them twice our last trip on site.

I also last two years booked two connedting rooms, value music, No kitchen but we made do with a fridge swap, a toaster or use the cafeteria one.
There are four beds and room for a crib, or if you get one double room and one Kind room for a roll away.

I'd recommend Windsor Hills. We rented a 3 bedroom condo there thru florida sun vacation homes and loved it! It was spacious and really nice plus the pool and play ground there make it even better! and with a full kitchen you can just do a quick supermarket run and have whatever you want for breakfast beofre you head out to the parks. MK was less than 15 min away (total driving time including parking, etc).

Haven't used them yet but their prices are fantastic and homes look amazing. Check them out on bbb.com first but they seem legit.

We rented a 2 bed/ 2 bath condo about 8 miles from Disney in mid-July for $69/ night. It was really nice. It had a full kitchen, washer/dryer, free wi-fi, and a huge master.

I was trying to find the link to it, but haven't been able to. I found it on vrbo.com. They have lots of choices. I have used this website several times. Good luck!:goodvibes

Check out the Orlando Hotels and Attractions boards for lots of threads on various off site options.

We stayed at Windsor Palms this summer and loved it!

We really liked the Sheraton Vistana Villages. Beautiful 2 bedroom. We paid $535 for the week. This was through my parents' timeshare. It wasn't their exchange week, but it was a special "getaway" price. If you happen to know anyone w/ a timeshare, I would ask them if they have getaways.

We stayed at the Emerald Island Resort in the 4 bedroom villa here this past May: www.emeraldislandvacationvillas.com

I found her on VRBO.com after much pain staking research to find the perfect rental since we were resort snobs. It was absolutely wonderful! They have a game room in the garage w/pool table, foose ball & air hockey & a private pool. There is a huge master suite and another with a private bath. The house was very clean and nicely decorated. I liked that they still had a community center with pool, bar next to the pool, little store, park transporation & game room in there too.

The owner is a really super nice woman and I'd definitely recommend this house or her other one to anyone. That is now our new favorite place to go when we go to WDW. We were at the parks in 5-7 minutes.
