I was wondering if anyone had anyinput on which is the best month to get married at disneyworld. I liked giong in april but i think it would be so cool to go during the holiday season. Anyone know if its more pricewise? any other useful info.

well the price of your honeymoon will definitely be more expensive then say value season, also it will be more crowded, which is enough to make me not to do it around then. :scared1: But it woud be fun to have everything decorated for the holidays.

if you're talking christmas time, value season is november 27th through december 19th this year for example. so if you got married during this festive time you would have all the decor (all the parks & resorts are decorated) & special christmas events (like mk's mickeys very merry christmas party & epcot's christmas processional) with value season prices starting at $77 a night the value resorts & $199 for deluxes which is a steal.

however if you wanted it the week of christmas or new years a) the price would be way more during this peak/holiday season rate and b) i believe the price does increase for the actual holiday wedding 12/24, 12/25, 12/31, 1/1. *another wdw bride could probably verify that more*

if you want a holiday wedding at wdw i would definetly suggest during the value season november 27-december 19 (similiar dates probs for 2006) with all the trimmings. we have visited during this time & it is just awesome. best of luck!

We got married at WDW in December 2003. We didn't want the additional expense of holiday season (plus we thought that would make most of our guests not be able to come since the Christmas season is so busy for everyone), so we had it during value season (our wedding was December 13). It was a wonderful time for a wedding! All the resorts and parks are decorated beautifully. Our reception venue (American Adventure Rotunda) even had lots of decoration, saving us some money. We incorporated the Christmas theme into the wedding with our flower colors, garland on the head table, holly placecards, etc. Plus, the weather isn't too hot either, which is nice. Feel free to ask me any questions, I'm happy to answer them. :)

We got married the weekend before Thanksgiving which was perfect because then a lot of our guests could take 2 or 3 days off and get a 9 day vacation out of it! Plus then we got to see a lot of the holiday awesomeness too!

I always wanted a christmassy wedding, we got married 15 December 2004 and it was fantastic, we had pictures with the christmas trees and decorations in the Grand Floridian and it made it that little bit more special. We like others wanted to get in the value times for the resorts so we stayed from 14th - 27th, because our dates started in value season our whole booking was at value rate which I think is pretty good.

We got married Jan 10, 2005 and everything was still decorated for Christmas, Plus the parks were empty, we had no lines to wait on @ all! Also very good deals during this off-season time!!
