Best Moderate Resort

What is the best Moderate Resort? From what I've seen and heard I would think it is the Cornado Springs, can anyone confirm? Thanks

CS would be my guess also. We really like staying there about a year ago. It was very nice. We have also stayed at POFQ and it was nice, but I think CS is nicer.

Coronado Springs Resort is our favorite moderate. We have also stayed at CBR which was nice, and we don't really have a desire to stay at POR/POFQ so CSR wins out for us!!!

We have stayed at all the moderates at least once, and rate them as follows:

POFQ
POR
CSR
CBR


We didn't like the convention factor at CSR--there was a large noisy group when we were there.

i would pick the allstars or the pop over it any day

We were just at CSR in March and loved it - the convention factor didn't bother us at all, and we really enjoyed the lake, the layout, the pool area, our room was very clean, Pepper Market was great - all in all very nice. But I'm sure it's just a matter of taste in the theming - CBR didn't appeal to us for some reason but lots of people love it and the PO duo.

CSR is a great resort ! It is the newest moderate and as with anything I think each time they get it alittle bit better. We were totally unaware of the conventions and they were there. Our whole family loves it there. Awesome pool/slide, lots of seating with some covered, huge hot tub, great food court, three distinct styles of buildings which makes it interesting, great lake and it is gorgeous at night to walk around. But we also love POR and plan to return there again. Entirely different theme but it has a full array of great amenities with it's relaxed southern charm. FQ has lots of fans, but it is too small & quiet for us. CBR was our least favorite of the moderates.

We love POFQ!!!! It's small and all the buildings are conveniently located to the bis stops and food court area.....the pool is really nice and the grounds are beautiful

POFQ is our favorite moderate! It is such a nice resort, very compact, yet lovely to walk through.

It is our first choice every time we go moderate.

Our fave is CSR, my husband loves being able to sit outside and read the paper and have a cup of coffee while watching the water. But my daughter and her husband love POR they are begging us to change our ressie for this upcoming trip to include POR for a few nights. We aren't wild about CBR because of how far you can end up from the food court, and we have never stayed at POFQ so no help there. But these are just our opinions!! We love everything Disney (you can't really go wrong with any of them)

I was recently at CS with my family, and we thought it was too big. I think next time we'll either opt for POFQ or go with one of the deluxe resorts like WL. We toured it one day and it was beautiful.

We have stayed at the cbr and port orleans riversde. Both were beautiful but port orleans riverside is definately my favorite.

I've only been to POR but 2 separate guides I have read rate POR as the best moderate.

Another vote for CSR! The bus service here was the best we have had by far! That alone makes it worth it.

We stayed at CBR in 2000 and it was ok at best. Because of my MIL's medical condition we were given a room right next to the main area. Could not imagine being in one of the areas far from there though.

I vote for Port Orleans Riverside. The grounds are breathtaking, the transportation is good; it is the only moderate with boat transportation (boats to DTD and between FQ AND R) It's quite romantic with the fountains, the tree lit trails, and the carriage rides. It has a yummy restaurant, a food court, and a lounge with entertainment at night.

The only mod we've stayed at is POR....we LOVED it!!! I don't know if we'd stay anywhere else now (unless it is a deluxe, but fat chance of that happening on our budget!)
