Best Moderate for Teen Boy

I am looking to my fellow disers on their opinion on which moderate resort do you think a teen boy would like the best. We have stayed at Port Orleans Riverside and French Quarter and liked them both. Just wondering if the other moderates may be more suited to the teenage crowd.

Didn't like BC because it was hughe and so spread out. I would stick with POR or FQ.

I don't see one moderate as better than another for a teen boy, but since you've already stayed at both Port Orleans resorts, maybe you should try Coronado Springs. Caribbean Beach is my least favorite moderate so I won't recommend that one.

We stayed at CSR in May and enjoyed it. The pool area was much nicer than POFQ.

Instead of a food court, they have the Pepper Market which serves a buffet breakfast and lunch. It might be a little pricey if you are paying out of pocket, but it counts as a CS credit on the meal plan. We didn't eat breakfast there, but we did eat lunch there one day and I thought it was really good. We were paying out of pocket for our dining costs and I didn't feel the cost was out of line with the quality. But it is a much better deal if you are on the dining plan. And I'm thinking a teenage boy would definitely be able to make the buffet seem cost effective.

Dinner is set up to be a little more like a food court. You go to various stations and tell them what you want. They stamp a card with your selections for when you cash out. There was a lot of variety to eat.

Our experience with the bus service was that it was good, unless we were using the El Centro bus stop. It's the last one for all routes except DTD and we ran into long waits there as buses that were arriving were already filled.

I've stayed with my teen daughter three times at CSR. We love that resort.

Last trip (March spring break) there were a bunch of teen girls at the pool each afternoon...if your son like's girl watching...it would have been his scene.

I would say CSR has the best mod pool for teenage kids. The slide is longer than the rest, arcade is there too.

Hi,
The only moderates we have stayed at are CSR and POR. Of these two resorts my teenage son prefers POR. He likes the convenience of the boat to DTD.
He didn't like CSR at all.

I stayed at CSR twice with my teen son. We really enjoyed this resort.
As others have said the arcade is nice and close to the pool and it's a nice resort to walk around.

We liked the main pool but each section has a private pool. We really enjoyed the Casita pool. It was large and when we were there in January we basically had it to ourselves. The bus service was usually very good.

Thanks everyone! we were leaning toward CSR and you guys pretty much sealed the deal. The pool looks awesome and the rooms look really nice. Now to start saving.
