Best moderate for a big party

I am planning a vacation for a party of 22. Obviously we are a group of multiple families. In the past we have stayed at Caribbean Beach and it was fine but what we would really like is some where where we can all hang out, like a common area where we can get together at night and in the mornings. Any suggestions?

Looks like you've stayed at several of the deluxe resorts in the past. There really aren't 'hang out' areas in the resorts other than the lobbies or the food courts. But those aren't what you had in mind, I think. What if you moved to the villas. A combination of 1, 2, and even grand villas would accommodate multiple families in each, with 'living rooms' where groups could relax, have a beverage and snacks or even a light meal. Just a thought. Might not be cost prohibitive if you could rent points.

Or you could get 4 cabins at Ft. Wilderness. They hold 6 each.

We had a group of 12 in 5 rooms and all wanted to be near each other.

We stayed at CSR and they put us in 5 adjoining rooms 1st floor in the Ranchos
section right next to the quiet pool. The gated entrance to the pool was right outside our doors and there were tables and chairs right inside the gate.

It was a great place for us all to be able to sit and lounge around.
