Visiting Disney again for the 2nd time this year (blessed me) and sister wants to stay at either a Moderate or Deluxe hotel. We can only travel at the end of October or November-wanted to know which ones are the best for a 3 & 4 year old. Looking for playground and lots to do around the resort as we will probably have 2 "non-park" days during our stay.

Thanks.

What a great age to take the kids!
Polynesian has a wonderful concierge package for the little kids....snack every night in a "common" room and snacks for the adults, too.
There was always a movie playing and crayons, and other things to do for fun. Lots of playgrounds around the property and water toys during the day. The best part? It's on the monorail, so you can hop on, go to a park, come back and take a nap, and then hop on again, if you want! :)

I'd stay away from Coronado Springs. The layout is too big for little legs to get from point A to point B in a hurry.

We are partial to the Beach Club due to the incredible Stormalong Bay pool and water activities for the kids there. It's not on the monorail, but it is backdoor to Epcot, which the adults always love. :earsgirl:

Have a great time!

My 3 yo loved playing in the sand at CBR last December. The playground area was nice there, too.

My choice would be for Wilderness Lodge.

-Direct boat launch to MK.

-Boat launch to Contemporary (catch monorail to Epcot).

-Less walking to get around the actual resort. The moderate resorts are spread out (DL, CBR, etc).

-Beach access for boat activities.

-Convenient pool area.

-Kid friendly restaurant

-Electric Light parade, geyser, nature talks, etc.

WL is in between priced (less than most deluxe resorts but more than the moderates).

It is important that you understand the differences between deluxe and moderate resorts. For example, moderate resorts usually have food courts and no sit down restaurants where as deluxe resorts are usually the opposite. There are several other differences.

Good luck

I would say Wilderness Lodge gets my vote. You get the direct boat to MK and you are in walking distance to Fort Wilderness. At those ages, my kids loved it there, pony rides, petting zoo, campfire and sing along. WL is gorgeous and the kids will love the pool. They also had afternoon activities for the kids, crafts, etc. I think that's called the cub's den.

Not that I've stayed there, but I would choose the Contemporary for your stay. If you have at least two days non-park it would be niceto stay in the deluxe because that seems like time enough to make up for the price difference.

With a 3 and 4 year old I imagine this would be the most popular park. Take the boat over to Fort Wilderness one day and visit I know there is a lot to do over there I want to suggest petting zoo (not sure if this is accurate) and pony rides (which I know they have) Also there is a movie there in the evening including a marshmallow roast with Chip and Dale:D

Whatever you decide I hope you have a wonderful trip.
