Best MK area restaurant?

We are taking my parents to WDW for the first time next June. Just getting ideas about where to take a first timer? We usually go to LTT but would mind somewhere else...Chef Mickeys, 1900, Ohanas?? Where would you take them?

We ate at Grand Floridian Cafe and it was the best meal I've had at Disney. Great steaks, the best mashed potatoes east of DL's Ralph Brennan'a Jazz Kitchen, and an extra veggie. We had roasted corn and it was great. Plus you can take the monorail one way and the boat the other.

Kona Cafe is one of my favorite restaurants. The food and service are always great.

i took my 5 year old and my mom to 1900 for dinner and my mom got SUCH a kick out of the step mother and step sisters, so much so that she took HER sister back a few months later! They really were hilarious and they were determined to get a picture of the two of them with the two step sisters :0)

I second the Grand Floridian Cafe. I think it would probably suit your parents very well. We didn't find it too noisy or crowded when we were there, and the food we had was delicious (DH had steak, I had salmon). Their sugar-free dessert was very good, too (a berry pyramid if I recall correctly).

Love Kona as well. Definitely a hidden treasure away from the parks but if your parents are first timers at WDW I might recommend Ohana's for the Poly experience which feels more like Disney than Kona. Or Chef Mickey's if they don't mind the real casual/child filled atmosphere.... eating in the open atrium of The Contemporary is a total Disney moment!

Don't think you can miss with most of the Monorail resorts or MK!
