Best mixed drinks and where?

For myself, a Mai Tai anywhere in the Poly. My wife likes the Victoria Falls Mist at the Victoria Falls Lounge at AKL.

3. Fiesta Margaritas in Mexico

2. Blue Titanics from the Rose and Crown Pub. (It was a special. Basically a strong Blue Hawaiian with a little boat made from an orange slice and 2 cherries attacked with a toothpick. Very cute!)

1. Pina Coladas at Tambu Lounge/'Ohana. I had two and could barely eat my meal (past the wontons at least)

Another vote for the Tambu Lounge at the Poly. I switched to Zombies after they'd run out of pineapples for the Lapu-Lapus one time and now I think I prefer them!

I just thought of 1 more we tried last week. DH and I each got a "Dad's Electric Lemonade to go from the Prime Time Lounge. It took me almost an hour to drink it, but it was so good!

I didn't realize that you could get alcoholic drinks to go at the parks (not MK)and walk around with them. This might make the whole Disney vacation a bit more tolerable for my DH !

Guess I will have to put "drink" stops on the itinerary!

Yes there is a great bar at the AK that has great potent drinks. I had some Frozen drink that tasted great and was strong.

Yes, from reading these boards I found out you can. They put the drink in a plastic cup. I doubt they would let you leave the park with one, but it was fine to walk around with.

My wife and I usually avoid mixed drinks at Disney because they never seem strong enough for what you're paying for them. The only exception would probably be the fiesta margarita. We generally stick to beer, wine and martinis because at least you know what you're getting. My opinion is based upon many years of Disney drinking experiences...

If you're looking for a place a bit quieter with somewhat less exotic drinks
(unless you're a scotch snob), I would suggest the Belle Vue Room at Boardwalk Inn.

I'll agree with the Poly drinks! They were great, especially with the kids down in the Neverland Club!

Go over to the theme parks board and you'll find a thread called the monorail-drink-a-thon. It is home to the lushes of the world (LOTW). Id say we've convered about every alcohlic beverage and the best strategeis on that page. I did have a vanilla mudslide at SAB once that was to die for. You alsom might want to drink a drink around the world in the WS.

I have to say based on my many years of Disney Drinking experiences, I have NO problem paying for the mixed drinks at Disney. I usually find that there is way more alcohol in them than a beer.

But drunkenness (?) aside, My favorites are
Lost on Safari (Dawa Bar)
Lapu Lapu (Tambu Lounge)
Sapphire and tonics made by Tony at the River Roost!

Staying at CSR. How are the drinks at the lounge there (it is a convention resort )? How about the pool bar there?

The best mixed drinks were the blue margaritas at the CBR poolside bar! It was also a nice way to unwind after a day at the parks. We sipped our drinks and watched the Epcot fireworks on the little beach behind the bar...ahhh.

Sorry SAB is the pool at the BC/BCV/YC. It has a pool counter service/bar place. I think they made it a vanilla mudslide by putting in vanilla vodka instead of regular vodka. Man was it goooooooooooooooooooooood!
