Best meetup spots?

Okay - I know I have two threads going now but I am asking all the questions today. I'll be traveling with a mix of adults and kids and we tend to split up and meet back up later. I'm trying to think of a good meetup spot to coordinate in-park meetups in both DL and DCA. Ideally, it would be somewhere:
1) not too crowded
2) shady or covered in case it is hot or starts to sprinkle
3) near munchies if my kid gets hungry
We used to do the castle or hub in DL and the entrance in DCA, but those places are pretty happening all day long.

The locations we found the best were the umbrella tables in front of Star Wars Launch Bay and then over between the Rancho del Zocalo Restaurante and Big Thunder. These were both quiet enough we could locate each other and had bathrooms/food nearby.

For DCA we liked the tables at Cocina Cucamonga Mexican Grill in the Pacific Wharf area.

We found that a good spot in DL was the big ball in tomorrowland or the benches just past the exit on big thunder (this might not work anymore). In CA we always met by bugsland water park (not there) or in the animation building.

I meet people inside the front entrances by the flag poles in each park. There is a mix of sun/shade, benches to sit on, quick munchies available and restrooms just off to the side.
