Does anybody have any recommendations for great meals at these restaurants? We're on the dining plan, so let us know about appetizers and desserts, too.

Turf's Bar & Grill
Kona Cafe
Marrakesh
Grand Floridian Cafe
Wolfgang Puck Cafe

We've seen the menus on Allears and have looked at some of the reviews, but we're looking for some specific suggestions based on experience.

Thanks!

At Kona Cafe the macademia encrusted mahi mahi is excellent. It is unbelievably good. Also, as for appetizers, everyone at our table tried something different, and the salad, crab cakes and sticky wings were all outstanding. If I had to choose just one, it would be a tough choice, but I think the sticky wings. The desserts were also great, but we were pretty stuffed by the time dessert arrived. Enjoy!

The only place we have eaten out of your choices is the Grand Floridian Cafe. We are eating there again this fall just so I can get their Garlic/Spinach Dip! It truly was that good and I can't find anything close at any restaurant here! We were there for lunch last time and had burgers and fries and they were great! No dessert, though, too full!

The only one we have eaten at is Kona. Our favorite things were:

- Sticky wings appetizer (DH LOVED this)
- Char Crusted Filet
- Kiddie kone was really cute and lots of fun for the kids (although it is not on the kids menu)

I have also heard raves on the mahi and the teriyaki sirloin. The chowder was good too.

My husband and I went to Marrakesh last year. We both had the Taste of Morroco/Marrakesh Royal Feast. It was a lot of food, but it was literally a taste of everything on the menu. My husband and I are new to many ethnic foods, but the whole platter was delicious. For dessert they gave us a platter of desserts like baklava. I'm not a huge fan of nuts, but it was tasty.

If you are new to this restaurant I would get the Royal Feast, you can have a taste of practically everything on the menu. The soup was super delicious too. I'm hungry just thinking of it.

I had lunch at the Turf Club last week with a group from work ... I had the seared tuna which was extraordinarily good -- but I like sushi! It was served over a cucumber salad and had little green roe on top ,a scoop of wasabi cream cheese and a thinly sliced, toasted bagel that was crunchy and buttery ... it was excellent. A friend had a reuben and she was it was very good, too -- pasta dishes that were also ordered looked really good, too.

I've had the chicken salad chinoise at Wolfgang Puck's Cafe -- it wasn't exactly what I expected, but it was good too. A huge pile of "Asian slaw" with a ginger dressing and chicken.

At Kona, the Beef Teriyaki is AWESOME. We get it every time we are there! At Marrakesh, the Chicken Bastilla appetizer is heavenly.
